Good Morning Sunday 27 February

Morning all.
Bright and sunny here in Bristol.
May be give the lawn a high cut, before tigers start inhabiting it :grinning:

Good grief, you’re early for a Sunday morning Chillie.
No idea what I’m doing yet, but sitting up in bed with a cuppa, followed by a shower then a bacon & mushroom sandwich will be a good start.

The sun shone today for a lot of the day, and it has not rained. Took the dog for a walk this morning.

My son video called me from India where his ship has been taken part in exercises with navies from India, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, USA and UK. Then they are off to the South China Sea. He was showing me videos of the shipyard where they are docked, he was saying he was glad he was in the Australian Navy because all the others are very formal and look askance at the Aussie sailors in civies or camouflage work gear while they have to wear whites.

It is early evening now and the skies are looking gray so might get rain overnight. The rain “bomb” in Queensland is heading south and flood alerts have been issued for northern NSW.

Oh well! have a good one.

Tigers? How lovely!

Sounds good - make that two, please, Mups!

Good Morning everyone,

Bright and sunny here at the moment - rain forcast for later. Those cats are already wanting the CH on.

Note to self - go and do a raid on the freezer before the rain starts!

Made a couple of birthday cards yesterday - including an 80th - which needs me to make a box for it - so I will be busy in the craft room.

Have fun - stay safe!

If you don’t see me again today, you’ll know they’ve moved in :tiger:

You know what they say the early Chillie catches the worm :worm:

They won’t hurt you as long as you feed them. I’ll send the cats over with a few tins of Whiskas!

Hmm, don’t think it’d be the Whiskas they’d eat :scream:

Morning all, looks like yet another bright sunny day - long may this last (it won’t!)

Had a lovely afternoon wandering around Looe yesterday. Think today will be mostly indoors as I have some sewing I really need to do. Granddaughter will be round later on this afternoon as she’s having a sleepover tonight - her school has an ‘inset’ day tomorrow, while her mum’s school doesn’t. Honestly, I wish all the schools in the area would get together on this and synchronise! Doesn’t matter to us, but I just think of families where kids are in different schools, must cause havoc for the parents!

Have a good one today folks

Good morning everyone!

Woken up by sunshine and wood pigeons cooing softly in the trees this morning! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Such a difference from sirens and bin lorries on a Sunday morning!

Out with the dog (who is still very unsettled and I’m trying to gently encourage her to go beyond the garden)

Had breakfast and now ready for whatever the day brings.

Have a lovely day everybody

Good morning everyone, beautiful morning here albeit a slight frost, but wall to wall sunshine forecast and 9°C, so no complaints here
 :sunglasses:

The dogs have been walked so now for a coffee before replacing a couple of fence posts that have given up the ghost in the storms.

Have a pleasant day folks

Mornin’ !

It’s bright, clear, sunny and cold here this morning

I few weeks ago I found out there were some communal gardens on the other side of town
I live in a flat with no garden at all
but there is a sort of a bay or recessed space halfway along the block which forms eddies and over the past week or so the storms & wind have made a lot of leaves collect there

I’ve cleared that bay 2 or 3 times, and now have 3 bin liners full of dead leaves, and I’m going to take them to the communal garden and see if they would like them for compost
I expect there will be someone around on a Sunday

Then this afternoon, a big shop

Morning all, what a change from last weekend, surprising how the wood walks have dried out in a week, spring is springing. Enjoy.

Morning, just.

This is the second place where I thought I had written a greeting, and hadn’t! Naughty me.

I am too cold to think what to do, but will prep my roast lunch soon. Washing is on the airers (clothes, today). And have a cuppa nearby.
