It was a tiny bit cooler yesterday, so I’m hoping the trend continues.
I got to talk to my favorite person on the phone today. I got a momentary scare when my phone line wouldn’t connect right away, but all was well within a few minutes. Found out about a new food show from that conversation that I’m looking at now.
Been looking at fountain pens and inks online today. Fun! I also revived some old dried up ink I had and tried it. It worked!

Might be a busy day for me. Got washing in right now (bed linen). If Holly can wait till it’s done, then I can switch machine off before walking her. If my library is open today I might pop there. There is bird muck to clean off the car. A roast meal to cook at some point (only the roasties and other veg). And if weather and neighbours permit, I would like a little while out the garden with my book.

Had a lovely early walk - quite cool now - but due to hit the 70s again later - with showers early afternoon. 15% threat of storm but - looking at the Lightning Map - the nearest storms at the moment are the other side of Italy - so I am not going to worry.
Amazon are due anytime soon - and some new dies arrived yesterday - so when I have breakfasted (boiled eggs and dippers) I will hie me to my Craft Room!

Sunday is boring in hospital, no discharging, no doctors, no physiotherapy, nothing.
Been fed and watered, washed, bed and pyjamas changed .
Nothing till lunch, then a rest until 5, sandwich and apart from obs and meds that is it for the day
Tomorrow morning will be very different, it is clear out time.

Good morning everyone 
I wish the weather would decide if it should rain or not, there is a fine mist of drizzle at the moment not enough to water the garden but enough to make working in the garden unpleasant in the brisk wind.
My runner and french beans are a disaster this year, both in short supply and covered in blackfly so I have to soak them in salt water to remove the beggars before cooking.
I have spent 2 days setting up my new phone which happens to be a smart phone
with an android operating system, I don’t like smart phones but needed a reliable inexpensive phone with 4g and Wifi to cope with the poor connection here.
I set the phone up to my liking then Google decided to invade it with spam and unwanted rubbish so I wiped the phone/turned of the internet connection which I don’t need or want and now have a decent phone for text and phone calls.

I haven’t had any tummy problems since starting to have a little glass of Kafir for breakfast and home made ginger Kombucha in the day.
Handy tip … don’t start your tunnel under the bathroom floor - they always check there first!

Good morning all overcast with a comfortable breeze today.
I noticed one of my azaleas in the garden has died, the heat last week must have been too much for it. We had some rain during the night but nowhere near enough for the plants.

Swimfeeders - sorry to read about your gastroenteritis and do hope that you are on your way to feeling much better soon.
Sadly I said goodbye to my Year 6s and some of my Year 11s who will not be returning for sixth form in the autumn term.
Lots of tears from some teachers and students alike. Had to say goodbye to a few teaches also, and hello to a few new ones, who will be joining us in September.
Even though I have finished, I am far from switched off. Think I need at least a week to switch off completely and get into holiday mode. Still, I used it to my advantage, and was up and out training this morning from 6:30am - so win-win at the moment.
