Good morning all, very mild here, but rain forecast again so hope to get our walk in very early before it starts…
I’ve got to take a door off this morning and plane a bit off the bottom as it’s started to stick for some reason, although it’s always been very close so I guess something has settled and made the difference. No other plans and just soup and a roll for lunch, so an easy day really…

I almost never check the weather forecast because it doesn’t usually help me. I checked it a day ago for the first time in a long time to see if I needed to water. The forecast was for cooler weather. Maybe I’m imagining it but it feels much cooler tonight.
Neighbor played music again yesterday. 
I’m still hoping for a peaceful end to the weekend.

Morning all.
I plan on taking it easy after the past week of cleaning and tidying, and entertaining my friends. They went home yesterday after our meal out, and seeing Holly for the first time in over 3 years. She loved having them fuss her and play ball.
Of course after a night away I loved having Holly sleeping behind me. I do miss her when she is on over nighters, but at least I could be out with my friends without worrying. She stayed home alone when we were out yesterday, as only for a couple of hours, and settled down on my bed (I checked the camera.)
Got a lot of tv programmes on my Sky planner to watch, and a library book to get back into. Might switch PC on, see what writing I can do, as we have our meeting this Tuesday evening. Rather neglected it recently.
Shan’t cook a roast today, as I usually do, but have decided lunchtime to do a full English breakfast. My friends ordered that in the Premier Inn, (the pub next door) and after giving their choice of eggs, after a long wait, that was all that was brought out to them. Just the eggs! So they had to wait again. They did say it was nice.

Good morning everyone and what a morning, 6:30 opened the door to monsoon rain poor puppy was up to her tummy in water on the patio on rout to the lawn , good job she dries easily with towel and hair drier set up in the garage ,
The family have all arrived in Rhodes where it is warm and sunny.
Nothing planned for today, I took the playpen in the kitchen down yesterday and it is lovely having my kitchen back.

I just couldn’t get to sleep last night; got up just before 2 and made a cup of tea, then back to bed and the last time I looked at the clock it was about 3, then I must have fallen asleep
So I’m up a bit later than usual
It’s dull & cool here, definitely autumnal
I have deliberately used up all my fresh fruit & veg, so I’ll be off soon to buy more, followed by pottering with hobbies for the rest of the day
Oh my thunder and lightning ! I had to go walk the dog …
I was ok in wellies and waterproof riding coat down to my ankles.
Dog wearing a waterproof coat his head and undercarriage still got sopping wet.
Yes Holly and I got wet. I had my big waterproof coat and she had hers. Still had to wrap her in a towel for her head and ears, and legs/feet. She has now gone back up to bed, hopefully to dry off completely.
Hope it stops for our lunch time outing…

Max doesn’t like the rain so it is down to the back garden and back. It may stop this afternoon.
Good morning all, rained throughout the night but it is sunny and very mild here.
Not much happening here as Mr Mags is still unable to walk without pain after knocking his leg two weeks ago. Unfortunately my back is suffering from the lifting but I can’t tell him that or he will blame himself!

It has been a busy day since this morning.
Washed all the windows - the grime on the window sills always gets to me. Washed the curtains and drapes and did a little painting to touch up a few walls in the house. Cooked breakfast and then did a full shop for the week.
Still have a few more things to do, but the light is already fading, and it will be dark soon, so heading off again.
