Good morning everyone, looks like being another nice day here later, with broken cloud, 21°c and a light south westerly, that’ll do for me…
It’s been awhile since I posted as I’ve been helping to renovate and alter a house which our eldest daughter bought, and that has taken all of my energy I’m afraid. It really has been all consuming and pretty full on for the last few weeks but is easing off now with other trades coming in to do the clever stuff, so I’m hoping to resume my life of indolence before much longer…
Anyway, enough of me, here’s hoping you have all been keeping well and I hope to catch up on a few threads and conversations over the coming days…
What time do you guys get up it’s only 5.25?
We are house sitting for our son and the dogs and cats have been pacing around all night tand keeping us awake.
I will be exhausted today
Morning all it’s a cooler start here a perfect 16c
I was left in charge of neighbouring property last week while it was being decorated…hand back the key today ….hope they like it
and welcome back Barry - sounds you have had a busy time!
Warm and sunny here at the moment - due to hit 75f by lunchtime. Will go and attack the Ivy again before that happens - then hibernate in the Craft Room until it cools down again.
Cold and cloudy today, with rain imminent. never mind, its Sunday…no plans except for ordering some food shopping, checking the meters, and generally see how the day unfolds.
Good morning everyone just hung the washing out and hoping it doesn’t get wet it looks like rain.
I am trying to catch up today after spending a day with my brother and another with the children .
My garden looks very sad and is covered with leaves from the silver birch tree next door , such a mess. I better get on and do some work . @Barry
Relieved to see you back Barry and to know all is well
Many thanks for your welcomes peeps, still another week or so to work on the house but all of the heavy work is now done thank goodness, just the finishing off bits now and supervision of other trades, so no pressure.
Just returned from Canberra and my dog sitting duties. The dog seems to like me probably because I take it for walks (my kids take it to a dog park where it can run off lead) whereas I take if for walks and make it behave on a slip lead.
Called into my middle son’s house on the way home to drop off some Harry Potter stuff a friend gave me (free from Coles).
Sunday arvo has to be the worst time to drive north, the Hume was crowded with Sydney bound cars, I hate it, was very glad to get onto the Picton Road turn off for Wollongong and sanity. On the bright side I filled up with diesel at Pheasants Nest service area for $1.91 a litre - still cost me about $90 for 47 litres.
