Morning Bruce and all. (Nice set up Bruce, I love your little campervan!)
It’s nearly 6am and I haven’t decided yet what I’m doing with the day. Pottering, napping and doing Sunday chores most likely. If its as warm as yesterday, then I’ll be napping more than “chore-ing”, that’s for sure! Sudden heat saps my energy
Good morning all!
Bruce, you’ve been travelling for quite a few days, rather intrepid, I think I’d be starting to feel pangs of home sickness by now. I just feel a pottering day coming on too, plants to get into pots, seeds to be sown , homemade snacks to be consumed and Merlot to be sipped. Classic FM on the radio, none of that raucous punk rock, Sunday is my “posh” day
Sudden heat Pixie? I thought you lived in Scotland?
Sorry
Have a good day people!
Good morning all, misty this morning because of all the rain yesterday afternoon, but I can see the sun rays peeping through. I dont think we’ll reach recent temperatures of 27/28C again today, more rain on the way this afternoon too. I hope my newly planted pot tomatoes don’t suffer too much,They want water of course, but not all at once like that, they’re still only babies! I keep them protected under my door porch when that rains beating down
Nice set-up Bruce. It’s a dull start to the day here and 12ºC. Forecast to get sunny with a temperature of 24ºC. Nothing to do today (I hope). Various wild plants are about a foot high on the half of the lawn we’ve decided to just leave for a month. Looking very meadow-ish.
Have a good day.
84 F here today and mostly Blue Skies. Same tomorrow, maybe warmer. 2 weeks summers that early most likely. With the Lil Granddaughter while the Kids Graduate their Senours from H.S.
Morning all – looks like another sunny day today - top temperature forecast to be 23c
I think I would feel too claustrophobic to sleep in that trailer Bruce!
Books delivered yesterday, new author to me so I am looking forward to starting them. Currently reading a book by Harlan Coben which, although well written, hasn’t “captured” me like other writers.
I also had a visit from our local MP!! Doing some early electioneering, we had an interesting chat and I even made one of his colleagues laugh with a comment about one of the opposing parties MPs!
Had a late breakfast (full English as it is Sunday!) and once I have finished my 3rd cup of coffee I will be changing the bed linen, laundry, a little (very) light housework and then hopefully sit in the garden and enjoy the sunshine
Take care – have a great day
Good morning all Have a fun Sunday everyone
Good Morning from Foxy’s World…
Nice and sunny this morning but the northerly breeze was a bit fresh, so shorts and a thin fleece top were just right for my 3 mile jog/walk. A woman jogger passed me on the towpath and it was during one of my faster bits as well…
I see that Max fella is in pole position for today’s Romanian F1 but hats off to Piastri and Norris for being 2nd and 3rd on the grid, and in front of the Ferrari’s…Good on Maclaren…
It’s all been kicking off here just lately, my neighbour drove his van out of the garage and just nipped in the house for something he had forgotten, and his van was disappearing down the street when he came out, with his laptop and smartphone inside…Oops! Keys were in the ignition so it might get messy…and…While I was driving back from Sheffield on Friday I spotted a man hanging from a bridge on the M18. I think he was a jumper…
Managed to capture this on the dash cam…
I understand the motorway had to be closed for three hours following the incident, so I’m guessing he must have jumped. So sad to have brought him to this…Gravity is such a bitch…
Off to hoover out the motor now ready to be taken in tomorrow. If they are going to talk about me at the garage, at least it won’t be because I didn’t look after my motor…

Good morning! Bruce is looking perfectly well-equipped and energized this morning! How are you keeping everything so clean, Bruce? That reminds me that one of the better additions to several of the rest areas in Florida are windshield washers. They are as easy as pulling up to the edge of the curb just before the highway entrance.
The weather has cleared, so we are taking the boat down river, across a bay and east along the intracoastal waterway to a sandy island near the gulf for some swimming and SUPing. It should be fun with some yet-to-be-determined bunch of the family twenty-somethings and their friends. This means a very short cup of chai before launching into the job of picnic preparation.
Sunday music here is low-key too, probably some 1950s and 60s standards that we used to call “elevator music.”
OGF, that is a haunting image you showed. How do we get to people who are in such despair? I tend to think that the problem is that we don’t look at mental health care with the same physicality and determination as we do cancer or cardiac disease, but that is a discussion for another thread.
Off to pick basil for the caprese tea sandwiches and as a tax to nature, to become the lunch for a bunch of
Where are my keys?
Have a nice day.
Good morning to anyone who may peek in!
What a breath of fresh air today, temps in the 70s, sunny…a great day to enjoy every minute with everyone!
I’m catching up on email, games, 2nd cup of coffee, smiling a whole lot… later, going out of town to see the cute movie, IF, with gal friends. Then, later a soft lunch, gab fest, liquor store for future supplies, , and for once, I’m not driving so I can enjoy the hills filling with green, blue skies, and a chance to say “Ahh! Life is good!”
My wish is that you can appreciate all that we have…it’s all good, folks!
