It is not a particularly nice day, occasional sunshine but not a lot of it.
Have spent the morning reviving an old laptop of mine (Lenovo Thinkpad T470) it is not a bad little laptop. It has a 14" screen I thought I had lost it but I discovered it last night in a safe place.
The internal battery (it has two) seems to have carked it and am debating if it is worth replacing.
Updating programs and revitalising it should keep me occupied for a lot of the day…

Good morning - A dull start with an outside temperature of 15ºC (7.30 a.m.).
A tidy up of the garage is needed after my ‘wheelchair repairman’ activities. Just awaiting the arrival of another battery. Thought I could get away with just ordering one and rejuvenating the other but it wasn’t to be.
No visitors yesterday, so that will be today. A noisy lot for a couple of hours in our normally quiet house. Good lads really though. Still lads to us even though two of them are in their fifties.

i am all alone today as Sue and my son Paul have gone for dinner with Sue’s sister. I thought it better not to go as I still have not got rid of this cold, still coughing.
Instead while waiting for a flashgun trigger to arrive I thought a good time"no interruptions" to sync two flash guns together. not straight forward as the camera uses differnt electrical contacts positions to Nikon. More detail under photograpnic section.
Another sunny day, this time with a breeze but very pleasant. I’m beginning to wonder what we have done to deserve such a run of good weather! Long may it continue.
I had a lovely time in London yesterday, it’s such a vibrant city to walk around - although my poor old legs are feeling it this morning, still it was worth it. Phantom of the Opera was brilliant and I can highly recommend it to anyone who hasn’t seen it yet. Annie dog enjoyed her stay with my friend, in fact she was reluctant to come home because she had bonded with my friend’s husband, he now being her new best friend.
Not much planned today, just a relaxing day with some reading thrown in I think.

Hurtled round my five mile route, and with no distractions set a good time and managed to arrive home before Mrs Fox returned from her walk with some friends. More a catch up and nag than a walk, that’s why I don’t go with them…
After perusing the forum my laptop battery has almost expired and is on it’s last legs…
I should get a new one really, it’s only lasting about 2 hours now…
