Well, I say sunny which it was this morning but this arvo there are supposed to be thunderstorms, I have just come back from visiting my grandkds. Which was nice but while the youngest was out on his bike I felt a few spots of rain but it didn’t really kick on.
I had pizza last night, I think I mentioned that it was a possibility, they were from Smokin’ Joes and were very good 12" pizzas there was plenty left over too for today’s lunch. I only eat pizza when my kids get them.
I can here thunder outside as I type but no rain yet. I have decided to go back to Wollongong Monday morning because they have a Charity Convoy going on this arvo which snarls up the streets and Mt Ousley
Have great Sunday, I hope you have an enjoyable weekend (I know I did)
Good morning from dark chilly Kent uk, been up since 06-15 as dog was moaning to be let out, so now relaxing with a coffee and watching live cricket from Australia, have a good day stay safe Ron
Dawn is breaking here in West Sussex, happily no more working on a Sunday for me at least for the foreseeable future. I’ll be popping over the road to the shop at 08:00 when the freshly baked baguettes become available, they go pretty sharpish on a Sunday so I’ll not hang around.
I have some sec to use up by the nineteenth, it’ll be thinly sliced on the above and served for lunch with some olives and other savoury snacks with a glass of Malbec
Morning all – a bit brighter start to the day (weather-wise at least!).
Glad you enjoyed your weekend Bruce – hope the journey home is less problematic!
The parcel I was expecting yesterday finally showed up at 6.30 pm! The delivery driver rather unexpectedly asked me to sign for it! When I later received notification it had been delivered it stated it had been left “in the mailroom”!!!
All I will say about the beast today is that it was no fun cleaning up after her this morning. She has gone into the garden where I will leave her until at least lunchtime (unless it rains – yes I know I am a softy!)
Good morning - Sunny but chilly here and forecast to become colder.
A good party last night with only one family member having a few too many. That concludes the partying for turning 80. As last week, we opened up a takeaway menu on ‘Just Eat’ and everyone added what they wanted. Our treat.
Had to look up the meaning of “arvo” means afternoon apparently. This is how Australians mispronounce English words after drinking too much kangaroo juice.
A late good morning from Foxy and a very cold one it was too. Had to walk round my five mile route up the lane because I’m still getting some pain in my heel. I could have run some because it does go off once I’ve warmed up, but it might be the running that started it and these sorts of overuse injuries can be a bugger to shift.
Had an emergency at Foxy’s gaff, washer door wouldn’t open, Mrs Fox was frantic…
It turns out the plastic handle had broken inside and wouldn’t release the little hook thingy…
With the help of youtube and 40 years engineering experience
I managed to get the door open (youtube mainly)
And I’ve just stripped the door and found out the problem…Bloody plastic parts…
Anyway, I’ve ordered one for £11 plus postage, and it’ll be here on Tuesday and I’m back in favour with Mrs Fox…
It’s looking like rain now but I don’t care because I can smell the beef in the oven and like Chilli, I’ve opened a nice bottle of red…Cheers Chilli…
There’ll be no more activity at Foxy’s once I’ve supped the wine…
