Good morning all, raining here at the moment but a quite balmy 4°C so no complaints… 
We are visiting friends in Leicester this morning then calling in at our son’s house a couple of streets away for lunch, which was cancelled on Christmas day because of illness so looking forward to seeing them all.

Hot and humid, hate humidity it has been 70 to 80% since before Christmas, it usually about 20% at this time of the year.
You work up a good sweat with a walk which is good because it encourages beer drinking followed by a shower. Just having the beer and will have a shower soon.
It might not rain today or tomorrow so i might be able to get some grass cut. Tomorrow I am going to get some spuds to make bangers and mash to freeze for dinners later (gotta use up the Christmas snags somehow).

Spent yesterday decluttering, and looks like I’ll be doing that today as well. It’s times like this I really wish I was one of these Minimalist’s who seem to be able to reduce their “stuff” to a couple of backpacks worth!

Still dark here…it feels very cold and I just took a peek outside and the trees are twinkling which means its frosty…looks pretty though 
Have friends coming over later and we are going out for a late pub lunch so looking forward to that

Pixie, I wish I was one too! I spend most days decluttering. In fact, I think I spend my whole life doing it, lol. When my mum died my older sister, who is one of my executors, looked around mum’s flat, she muttered ‘she has a lot of stuff’. Pffft…you wanna see my place, dear!! I do aim to have a go at the spare bedrooms this year, and empty them.
Lynda, my allotment friend, once told me to clear out stuff. But by heck, her house was no better! When she showed me round once, I was astonished at one bedroom that was almost floor to ceiling with craft stuff. Sewing machines, materials, etc.
Anyways, I digress. Have a lovely day folks. My younger sis is coming round for a cooked lunch, and we will draft a letter of complaint to her energy supplier. Then later will both walk Holly.

Taking dad his roast up in an hour and I’ll spend an hour with him. Son is coming for dinner and I’m going to help him with some paperwork and draft a letter. He has ADHD and needs my support with things like that .
When he’s gone I’m going to put my feet up and watch some more Salisbury Poisonings on netflix.
Jazzi that woman’s craft room sounds like mine, a happy minefield lol.

Good morning everyone 
I wasted my time hanging out the washing early this morning, the air is so damp it hasn’t dried at all .
I have spent the morning making vegetable lasagne and vegetable chilli, my painful back allows standing so I thought I would get some things made for the freezer while I am unable to bend. I am going to take Chloe a walk then try an ice pack on my back.
That sounds like mine, Jazzi. If I were ever to move house it would takes days just to pack the craft stuff.
I’m moving imminently and I have 4 boxes of craft stuff at the last count- never mind the used stuff I have thrown out! 
The new place is tiny, and has no storage…heavens knows what I’m going to do. I already threw out a mini cricut machine by mistake…
