Good Morning Sunday 15th October 2023

Morning all!

Got a lot done despite waiting for the neighbor. Thankfully it’s been quiet.

The weather has been nice. The temperature is comfortable.

I’ve decided to take a self care day on Sunday. The stress of late has been getting to me. Still have to see what the neighbor does but no other plans.

Have a good day everyone.

Good morning all
Brrr it’s a chilly one .
Today on and off I shall be listening to the cricket…England England .
Still got the half price electric Sunday so the DW & WM will be pounding away . and I will be skating around with the vacuum cleaner.

Take care xxx and enjoy the day

morning all , there was a frost last night . i just broke a layer of ice on a bird bath …
got most of the gardening done , but was left with quite a few bulbs to go in .

its a rest day today . enjoy your day .

Morning all.

Yup, very cold right now. Brrrrrr.

Plans for today may include going around with a steamer, on floor level, my bed and the sofa. Holly is still harbouring the little nasties, which are proving so hard to eradicate.

And cooking a beef roast meal, with cauli cheese.

My dog has these , he never has any problems with unwanted passengers .

Mi Pet easecto

Morning all, its brrr.

Not going out today.

Have a nice day all.

Hi

The cursor on my laptop has disappeared,so on my phone.

It is very slow.

I have also diced my middle finger on my new vegetable peeler machine.

Life is not good at the moment

Oh heck Swimmy, those things can be lethal.

Very cold out!

Mixed veg with green pesto .
If you don’t go out you have to cook

How did you manage to get half price electricity on a Sunday?

BG have been offering half price Sunday deal now extended till 2024

Love green pesto, I’ve never attempted to make it but I’ll usually have a little jar or two tucked away the kitchen.

Me too …although I make it using a vegan friendly parmesan alternative

Any chance of sharing the recipe Ripple… I’m intrigued.

A lazy day after the busy yesterday - ten of us…
Our wee dog was just so well behaved.

Yes it’s easy
2 cups basil …you can use any green leaf with a cup of basil
Half a cup of pinenuts
Two or three cloves of garlic
Half a cup of Parmesan cheese, grated
Half a cup of ex virgin olive oil

I use a small food processor but pestle and mortar is okay

Quick pulse the basil and pine nuts .
Add garlic and cheese short pulse
Pour in slowly oil a slow stream while pulsing or stirring .
Salt & pepper to taste
