Besides my trying to do too many things at once, it was a decent day. I was trying to watch a tv show, shop online, chat with someone on the phone and organize some things. If I had done them one at a time, things would have gone better. It was still fun.
It rained yesterday so it was fairly quiet except for a little girl screaming outside in the wind and rain. She often screams like that so I knew she wasn’t in danger, but it was annoying.
Hopefully, it will rain again today so my neighbors continue to be quiet. If that happens, I’ll take a rest.
I am pretty sure my NfH were the ones responsible for throwing out food to the birds yesterday, almost outside my house again. I posted a photo on a local social media site asking whoever was doing it to please stop. Then of course I got comments saying why is it an issue, birds have to be fed, etc., and after explaining myself I switched off the comments. I just wanted to put my point across in the hope ‘he’ read it. As I wrote, why should I have swarms of birds outside here?
Good Morning from Foxy’s World…
Decent weather today although it seemed to stay dark for a long time this morning. I watched the sky begin to brighten in the east as I climbed the railway bridge and took the path over the field to the next village. The gloves I nicked off Mrs Fox kept my hands lovely and warm in the 3 degrees C as I quietly crept through the woods and out onto the main road. The path was unusually dry in the wood, and it was the same as I started on the lane. Just a few dog walkers and joggers out, but I let them go and just kept walking, it was a swift pace, and the time wasn’t all that different for the 5 mile route when I do a bit of jogging. Still a bit too cold for shorts yet though…
Not done anything bar get up shower have boiled eggs, toast and coffee now lstenign to the radio and on here.
Lunch roasting nicely and I plan to do nothing else today either. Although I have earmarked which plantS need to come out in the garden or repostioned in the Spring the removed ones will be donated to volunteer gardening group (I belong to sort of) and plan on trimming back a few evergreens. I am on holiday next week so that is my plan weather somewhat dependant and of course my inclination. LOL
Just cycled back from the gym, picked up a few supplies on the way home and the rest of the day is for cooking some nice stuff, listening to an audible book and just mellowing out
Afternoon all and sundry. Still a bit cool - 5C at the moment. My sister had planned to have Sunday dinner with us but she wasn’t terribly well. So just us. And the wee dog.
