It rained most of Saturday which meant no loud music in the yard. Yay!
For people in the US, it’s time to change clocks to an hour later at 2 am.
Still trying to catch up on sleep.
Other than that and talking to someone on the phone, no big plans for the day.

Morning all, a good thaw here overnight so most of the snow has gone, but heavy rain now forecast for later, although I’d rather that than another blizzard…
We are visiting eldest daughter and family for lunch today, but will call in on Mum on the way there for an hour before she goes to my sister’s for her lunch, so a real family day all round it seems.

It’s 7C so a bit milder of late. We had a good long walk and Max had a race around one of the parks. We meet a few friends with their friendly hounds. He rather likes Sheeba, a lovely Alsation…
Afternoon.
My GM comments didn’t post.
Dropped H off at 10, home to change bed, hoover, shower, then off to Tesco. Used the car vac to do the boot, got petrol, then shopping. Over £32. Eeeek. How come, I asked myself.
Decided not to eat out and cooked a lamb chop roast. Enough in the packet to freeze half. Expensive enough. Just finished and sat down, watching recordings.
Another clothes wash hanging up to dry. Will load the car in the morning.

Yes, seeing family and friends. A 3-4 hour drive (cos I stop several times for a toilet break, and often hit traffic, depending on my route).
Good for your to see your family and friends. We moved house after I retired and we moved up country. to Yorkshire to be closer to family. It’s still not very close but we have a nice dinner two or three times a year. Ten of us and it is at our house !

Got up a tiny bit later than I thought I would. Kids next door usually disturb me from 6 onwards.
Once I’ve finished in the bathroom will put some bits in the car. Getting breakfast from McD (a sausage muffin) on the way. Not liking the sound of that wind but I did see it forecasted.
