No particular plans for the day, just a day of pottering and enjoying the garden methinks, but first a walk through the forest so I’d best get a move on!

My Cat is still not well, although she is on the mend, but she is very slow in what she is doing and sleeps all day, and just little bits of food, she is not sneezing and coughing now, I suppose its just her age now.
Going for Pub lunch today with friends.

Poor Coco, our animals can be such a worry sometimes, can’t they Susje, especially when we can see they are off colour. Hope she improves soon.
Morning all. What a glorious day. I want to nip down to Wilko’s for a few bits, then after my usual Sunday bacon & tomato butty, it will be a day of gardening, me thinks. Everything’s growing well, but we badly need some overnight rain again, here.

I was awake at 6.30. A cuppa and first tablets by bedroom window. Too hot so thought I’d have a lie in. Holly had other ideas, so decided not to bother. Dog walk done, breakfast done, a minted lamb swirl is defrosting, for my roast lunch.
Lots of w/u to do, and veg to prep.

It’s a nice morning here. Taking Dads sunday dinner up then me and John are going to take Loki for a nice walk. I recently found out there is a different route to walk that I never knew about so we will go look for that. We tend to walk the same spot by our house so it will make a nice change.
I;m thinking of going for a swim, note I say ‘thinking’ so I may or may not lol.
Rest of the day will be spent crafting, did I tell you how much I love to craft?

I am having a rare quiet sit in the garden, before I put my roast on. Will walk Holly while veg in the oven.
Good morning everyone, still very windy which is not good for the plants in the garden.
Just been a walk with Chloe, I might give her a trim after lunch then do some work in the garden.
Very dull and windy up here still.
No pets to attend to ,no roast to put in the oven and a good thing too because potatoes are missing from my online grocery delivery today .
Yummy - my local butcher makes those and they are really tasty.

After another scalding day yesterday, I woke up to an overcast day today. The tiniest bit hopeful that it might be cooler today.
Just as I was writing that, the sun popped through the clouds, so I looked outside and it had rained a tiny bit. Weird weather.
Will have to play it by ear today since the weather is changing by the minute, which is nice at the moment.

We up here don’t use the word roasts .I first noticed that while holidaying " down South" .
A Joint is how we describe a large piece of meat to be cooked in the oven 
I’m not a meat lover enough to buy one . I’ve a chicken breast cooking for today’s meal .
Those Lamb swirls do look tempting tho , I’ve seen them in passing the local butcher’s window.
I have so many of those lamb swirls in my freezer now! Keep buying when I see them in Morrisons butchery department. My roast lunch was delicious!!
Friends have gone home now
Brought Coco down the stairs to see our friends, and the poor thing, she has a waist about 1", she is like a piece of rope, so skinny now, I feel so sorry for her.
Oh bless her! Hope she will be ok.

It has been a hectic week, hence joining very late.
Up this morning at around 4am, so figured I jump on before the day disappeared in a hail of activities.
It has been a bumper week since going back but managed to get in a few hours (in total) of workouts and still doing about 10k steps a day, which is the minimum.
Have a number of events coming up for the last half of the term so ‘busy being busy’ in a nutshell.
I have Arvo Pärt- Spiegel im Spiegel playing in the background to reflect the feeling of the morning.
