Good Morning Sunday, 10th May 2026

Good morning sunshine, the world says hello…

Sorry, I must stop listening to Hair

It was quite chilly when I went for my walk this morning, the sun was not up properly but there was not a cloud in the sky, however it was probably only 11°, I wore my jacket and I should have worn gloves.

Some Bin Chickens exploring fast food in the car park at the end of my street.

and Galahs getting the first rays of the sun.

Sun still not high enough to light up the rail tracks as I walked across

Spent the rest of the morning with my whipper snipper cutting down overgrown grass on the road edge. It is nice in the sun but cool in the shade, only expecting 22° at the most today. Definitely autumn.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend.

Take care…

The last few days have been hard. We keep expecting to see Teazle such as getting up in the morning or lunch time with her under the table hoping
for crumbs. Even the now empty spaces where her beds were, in the kitchen or in the lounge. every morning when I went down stairs she would be waiting for her morning treats.
So so hard to carry on without her or even a dog which we have had several of over the past 50 years.

Morning all – sunny start to the day but it has now clouded over

I know how you feel reaspeed - it is hard but it does get easier with time.

Was able to sit in the garden reading yesterday afternoon – a neighbour’s children were playing and laughing in their garden which added to my enjoyment

Yet more books being delivered today – I really must stop this! The problem is either a new book in a series I am reading is published or someone recommends one and I have to buy it!

Not much else planned for today

Take care – hope everyone has an enjoyable day

As Sheila said time will ease the loss realspeed.

I had a wonderful evening, the music was Vaughn Williams The Wasp Overture, there was 6 family members went , we were supporting the Mother I.L…of one who plays the Violin in The Nottm Symphony Orchestra .
There was a Soloist Cello player who is playing at the Royal Albert Hall for the Night at the Proms, coming up soon , he was magnificent.
And it sound so good in the Church …
