Good Morning Sunday 10th April 2022

It has been sunny on and off and not a drop of rain so far today. I got all my laundry done and on the line early.

In a move that surprised absolutely no one, the Prime Minister, Scotty from Marketing, went to see the Governor General today to dissolve parliament and call an election for 21st May. About 98% of adult Australians will then decide who will run the country for the next three years.

Labor are streets ahead in the polls but as the last election proved the only poll that matters is on election day.

With that bit of excitement under your belt I hope you enjoy your day

I love compulsory elections - they show real commitment - heh?

Good morning!

A fine, clear, and cold morning, but the frost’s melting and it promises to be a nice day

I’ve run out of fresh food so I need to do some shopping, but I know my car battery is flat.

I have one of those new compact battery packs, a NOCO GB30 which has been fully charged indoors, so I’ll give that a go
Then a blast round the local roads & lanes to charge the car battery, returning via Sainsbury

Morning folks.

Sitting by my bedroom window with my cuppa. Nice bit of sun streaming in now it has risen above the roof tops.

Good morning all, brilliant sunshine here, but still very cold.
Not going out today, I think my back and leg needs a rest after yesturday’s walking.
Have a nice day all.

Hi

Good Morning All.

Cold, dry and frosty here.

I did rather too much yesterday, so need to take it easy today, just pottering around the house.

Have a good day all.

Oh the joys of living above obnoxious neighbours, it was someone’s birthday so cue a party of sorts which is always accompanied by door slamming, arguing, crying, back and forth out into the street and generally no consideration for others in the block and this went on for around 8 hours starting at about 10pm.

Good morning everybody.

Ady & family are off to the seaside tomorrow with their caravan so we are meeting them for Sunday lunch before they go.

I must remember to take Josh’s Easter egg.

Have a good day all…

Good morning everyone  another very cold night last night and a chilly day.

I am busy cooking some white kidney beans , ‘Montes’ supposedly the Rolls Royce of beans we shall see. I will freeze them in small portions to add to dishes.

I might get the back lawn cut later. Walking is a problem at the moment, after too much exercising yesterday and using a memory foam knee support I am trying while I sleep . I am determined to have some improvements to show the physio next time I go.

Yes Meg, I want to get my lawn cut today too. Glad you are feeling a little better now.

Sunny here, but gradually clouding over, and still quite cold. I do wish it would warm up a bit.
I have endless jobs to do, both inside and out, and don’t know where to start. If I start outside I know I won’t come back in, so I suppose I ought to do domestic things first . . . . but then I don’t want to waste all this sunshine, hoovering!

Same here Mups. I could do with a massive tidy up of my garden. And there is still the elephant in the room. The room upstairs which is so dull and dreary due to the decor I don’t want to be in there, tidying it, but at some point I will have to.

I have weeds galore out the front, so need to pull them up. It is just so flipping cold with that wind.

W H Smith deliver the newspapers around the news agents in my area and, apparently, they almost always deliver less than ordered on a Sunday according to the checkout lady at our local Co-op when I went in for my Mail on Sunday this morning. Thus I had to cycle another mile or so to the next convenience store to buy my paper. Even they had had a short delivery but I did manage to snaffle the very last copy in the shop.
