Morning Mups. No rain here in Bristol blue skies white clouds. Wind just starting to pick up. But so far not too bad.

Bloody hell I was beginning to think that the UK had been invaded by Russia the forum was so quiet.
Just getting ready for a quick thunderstorm here after a fairly warm day about 30° but the grey clouds are forming as the light begins to fade.
Went for my walk early to beat the heat and finished off my mowing outside the garden, otherwise a quiet day for the first day without QR codes.

Good morning everyone, not too bad here yet but very wet overnight, forecast for 50mph plus here in Nottinghamshire today but good luck to everyone further south where it is forecast to be stronger, hope you all stay safe.
No plans for me other than staying in and reading the paper, with maybe starting a jigsaw later on.

All quiet here at the moment, except for a bit of a breeze. I don’t think we are expected to get the worst of it here.
Not bad at all here, see storm thread, bit of decorating to finish off for the diner then we’ll see where we go from there.Enjoy.

No Russian Troops here Bruce, the locals would mug them.
Local schools open, a hardy bunch round here.
Some local flooding already on the roundabouts and my garden is under water in parts.
It will be an interesting day.

It’s blowing a hooley out there at the moment - took a while to pick up, but Eunice has definitely arrived now.
I’ll be mostly staying indoors today, apart from when I go and pick up my granddaughter from school, but the storm should have passed by then.

Not a day for going anywhere other than Tesco for the weekend shop.

The storm has now come in with a vengeance, heavy rain and really blowing a gale, constant wind not just gust’s.

Good morning everyone I was surprised to wake up to everything calm here but it seems the worst is still to come. All the schools have been closed here.

Good morning everyone I got up at 6 to take Chloe out before the worst of the winds arrived so got a nice early start to the day.
I have prepared a vegetable lasagne and salad for lunch but dare not do anymore cooking in case the electricity goes off .
I am going to tidy some kitchen cupboards and check the spices are all in date.
