Good morning, Saturday 8th of October!

Good morning, all!

Another busy one for me this morning. I have a list at least one length of A4 and I am still adding to it. I suppose that’s what happens when you work the entire week and then only have the weekend to catch up.

Key issue we have is a great deal of mold in our home, so trying to deal with that constantly is a yearly chore - summer is not so challenging. Looking at quotes to see how much the damage will be for getting it under control. Our home was built in the late 1800s, so very old - think it would be easier to knock it down and start again.

Apart from that the day looks like a long one ahead but I’m ready to take it on.

Have a great one!

Hi

Mould spores are dangerous, they can affect your lungs badly.

Humidistat extract fans are the cheapest and most effective method of dealing with the problem.

Hi

Good morning all,

First night in the Isolation Room,it is boring.

You are also the last to be served food and drinks as they have to don full PPE to enter the room.

I can’t see the outside. the window is etched…All good fun.

Have a good day all and stay safe.

Good morning all.

Off out to do my usual Saturday stroll around the shops.

Have a nice day all.

Bright sunshine this morning even got up to 22 degrees. Sat in the garden enjoying it, even went shopping very early,

Then the forecast rain came just after 2pm and has set in for the rest of the night until the middle of tomorrow, It is not fun.

Good morning!

Warm & sunny, clear blue sky, looks like it will last

There is a food festival in a nearby town, Colne
I’ll go and have a browse round, and also the second hand tool stall in the local market

Hi Swimmy,
Absolutely agree! It’s a constant battle in our home. We have all types of fungi (including small mushrooms) and without fail, it crops up somewhere else once one area has been treated. We have an extractor fan in the bathroom, but the rest of the house has open windows. However, the brick is highly porous and lately, you can simply brush against it, and it crumbles. It’s not in good shape at all.

Morning all.

I HAD thought of using the shampooer, but I’m not exactly sure where my bottle of carpet cleaner is! I could spend the day hunting for it (don’t relish getting more boxes out from the shed, where it’s likely to be.)

Visit to the vet with Fang der Wunderhund, he has been on steroids for the last week due to an allergy, so more steroids with a reduced dosage for another 4 weeks

Is it just me, but why are all my vets Spanish, Binmen English and GPs (remember them?) Asian?
