Good morning to everyone on the 8th of the 8th, another sunny day and cold night however rain expected tomorrow arvo.
Not done much this morning, washed my bedclothes and any dirty clothes in the clothes basket, it is all drying as I type.
Checked in the garage to see if I have any axle seals for my camper, found that I have plenty so no doubt I will regrease the bearings sometime before September’s trip. Will probably take the wheels off shortly because I have to buy new tyres as the existing ones are 10 years old even though hardly worn. I suppose I could sell them to someone for their trailer.
Hope you are enjoying the weekend I am very much missing the lovely warm weather I experienced in the UK it was bliss.

I’m just about to have a brunch then I’ll carry on with repairing my leather jacket
Yes, it’s a bit of a shame to stay indoors, but the jacket and assorted tools, thread etc have been lying around for a while and I want to get things finished
Hand sewing is tedious and a long session makes my hands ache slightly, so I’ll just work for a couple of hours or so and I’ll still have time to go for a stroll round this evening
Tea is frozen fish & veg so that will be easy enough - part of my plan to empty the fridge & freezer so I can give it a defrost & clean out.
Good morning/afternoon everyone (very quiet here today!)
Had a fabulous afternoon by the river yesterday - loads of people around, mostly visitors here for the weekend and school holidays, not to mention an abundance of beautiful swans and their young.
Today i can’t avoid all those boring chores waiting to be done, but the weather is so lovely, maybe i should make the most of it, as our summers never last too long.
