Good morning all, Yay it’s the weekend! though to be honest that makes little different to me.
Just the usual morning walk on what could be quite a warm, humid day. Received 5mm of rain yesterday in a short, sharp thunderstorm while I was in the pathology place, much needed, might get the same today.
Got my spirowatsit done at the pathology place yesterday arvo, there was no one waiting when I walked in so it was done straight away.
I have noticed that there is a skink living in my house, I guess that is better than a mouse, I see it occasionally but it scuttles away before I can try to direct it outside.
Yet another wet and grey day here on the south coast of Hampshire. Not much going down here, wife has to pick up a load of parcels and drop off a load of parcels. She is trying to find a pair of shoes to match her bag, which has to match her shrug she bought, all in preparation for a wedding in a few months time. To be honest, it’s driving me a little crazy, as she has no idea what she wants or what colour she likes to begin with and just keeps ordering stuff.
Despite the weather yesterday, managed to do a photoshoot and I need sometime to sit down and go through them, but I don’t think that will be today. Whilst there is a break in the weather, I shall go for my daily walk, armed with swan and goose feed and then it’s coffee time.
Well, this is the first morning for weeks that I haven’t woken up sneezing or sniffling; in fact I feel better than I have done for weeks, let’s hope I am now clear of my flu bug
I’ve spoken to a few people recently and some of them have had this bug, and yes, they agree - it’s horrible with all the usual flu symptoms, especially feeling cold; and it lasts for weeks
Well I hope I’m just about recovered, though I do feel a bit weak and unsteady, but that improves every day.
So my plans for the weekend, and probably into next week is to catch up with the cleaning & tidying – not much else to say really.
@Bruce just make sure you sleep with your mouth shut , imagine waking up with a Skink chewing on your tongue .
@swimfeeders … pleased you can get on to say you are fine .
@Graham , If its any help my sons wedding was colour themed , We wore some shade of Green to support him , the Brides side wore Cream and Gold . Perhaps Mrs Graham could go with a colour thats on the side she is supporting .
Photos looked good , because there was no bold clashing colour that stood out .
If only it were that simple! The main themed colour of the wedding is sage green which she hates. But she has decided to go for a shade of coral, mixed with blue and white. But she can’t find anything to match and is not sure which colour to go with and constantly changes her mind. I’m always asked for my opinion, but I try to keep out of it as it can cause arguments. I just get to sit outside fitting rooms for hours at a time and nod along with whatever she decides.
