As planned, I spent the day relaxing and recovering. I took a long nap after I got up feeling pretty bad. Felt lots better after the nap.
Now I’m waiting to see what the neighbors are going to do for New Year’s weekend. On the plus side, it’s overcast at the moment. On the other side, I think I heard them playing music in their house earlier.
Good Morning, Been a heavy frost overnight here, AND, I forgot to put my car in the open front barn last night Soooo will have to scrape the darn thing when I take the Hairy One for his walk.
Very red sky just now for sunrise, that doesn’t bode well.
Have a nice day all.
Good Morning from Foxy’s World…
Hardly any wind, 5 degrees C and dry…So I struck out for my 3 mile walk.
I had only gone half a mile when I bumped into an old running friend, he’s about ten years younger than me and was out on his early morning run. We stood and nagged for a while, then we wished each other Happy New Year and promised to keep in touch…
Although I didn’t do any jogging, I was feeling really good and set a blistering pace, despite the five or ten minutes of nagging, I was surprised with the time.
That will be my last walk of 2023 because we are off to Scarborough first thing tomorrow to celebrate the New Year, so it’s going to be a long day with the drive and everything.
So I’ll wish everyone a Happy New Year if I don’t have time to write tomorrow.
See you all on Wednesday…
Afternoon good people. Met a few of the usual dogs. Ours is still a bit shy with others but improving and she likes Buster, a big Labrador, who is such a loveable and gentle fellow. Then we got the groceries in with a few shortages. No big deal.
Been to town, but didn’t spot Susie. I nipped into Poundland then the pet shop. More biscuits for Holly.
Into Nationwide, withdrew some cash. Into an electrical shop, looked at fridge freezers, spoke to a salesman about the Sky Q box. They can supply and fit, if and when I clear my +HD one. B&M then the bus home.
