Mild but wild here this morning.
Friends collecting me about 10:00am - we are off to Pickering - I have some books to sell. We will have coffee and sticky buns there before moving on to Helmsley for lunch - here -

Good morning everyone, getting quite windy here but a very mild 10°C so no complaints… 
I may get out into the garden for an hour today and prune some fruit bushes, but nothing else on my agenda apart from doing an omelette for lunch.

Its a wild one up here this morning with Storm Malik whirling around with wind and rain. Not a day for going outside, so I’ll just potter around here until I can get an opportunity to nip to the shops without being blown away!

Another warm, humid day, got my laundry in the machine while I took the dog for a walk. It was on the line by noon and dry by 4pm. This humidity seems never ending. It is supposed to rain this evening.
I got tomato sauce on the shirt I was wearing so had to wash that, I am going to have to start wrapping a tea towel round me when I eat!
Apart from walking the dog I am setting up a new NAS I have bought so apart from a stint in the garden, making a few phone calls and taking the dog for a walk I really haven’t been anywhere today.

Good morning!
It’s cold, grey, overcast and very windy here, but dry so far
I did a fair amount of shopping yesterday so I don’t need to go out for a few days
I had plans to do my hobbies, but Sod’s Law means I have a sniffle and feel tired & bleary - not a full blown cold, just enough to be annoying
I’ll see how I feel after I’ve had a cup of sweet tea with a dose of whisky in it… but I may well get back into bed for a couple of hours
Nothing much else to report; hope you’re feeling better than me.

Just waiting for someone to call and finish a job for me, then the day is my own.
I might clip Liffey as she looks a bit scruffy, and do a few minor chores, and I need to do an order for my favourite website for my lovely chemical-free moisturisers and shampoo.
But first and foremost, I must have another cup of tea.

Morning all, er… I mean, afternoon all! I didn’t hear anything of storm Malik last night here in the SW - not sure if it reached our area. There’s no wind to speak of today, so probably not.
I was just about to post on here when there was a knock at the door - I could see through the frosted glass it was someone tall, and the only really tall person I know is my 15 year old grandson, at 6’6". Yep, it was him! He’d been to a bakery owned by his friend’s parents, to do some product photography to start building a portfolio. The idea is that he’ll trawl all the bakeries and eateries in the area looking for commissions to raise money for a trip to Kenya next year with his school. I hope he gets some business, he’s very enterprising, and very good at photography, but it’s a very difficult market to break into with so many photographers out there.
So we chatted while I looked through all 300 photos he’d taken, then took him home - complete with a studio lighting set that I bought many years ago and never used. He was delighted and couldn’t wait to set it all up at home!

Good morning everyone.
Good news for me today. The blizzard conditions along the East Coast from VA to ME have pushed east enough that we might get just an inch or so of snow, and no ice or heavy winds to know out power. Feel badly for those caught in the mix, but I will try to doubly enjoy my day here, even though it’s cold.

A belated good morning I started a batch of bread then went out to collect the new kitchen tap I ordered yesterday marked as being in stock but surprise surprise it wasn’t there . It might arrive tomorrow .
Made the bread rolls walked Chloe and did the ironing, I am ready for a sit down now .
