Good morning all on this lovely morning but there is a sting in the tail this arvo.
It’s 31° at the moment but a southerly buster is coming up the coast which will drop temperatures by something like 10° or more sometime this arvo - not long now.
Historical note: in the early colonial days the Sydney Observatory used to fly a flag with a big “J” on it to indicate that a southerly buster had reached Jervis Bay and that relief from the heat was on its way. They used beacons to transmit the news. Because of climate change southerly busters have become much rarer. We still get southerly changes but not with such a big drop in temperature.
Anyway back to today, as I said it was warm early, I took advantage to wash my sheets they were on the line by 7.30, dry by 8.30am and back on the bed by 9am.
Finished off my varnishing then made a silly mistake, I cut some of that rubber shelf lining stuff for the back of the camper, carefully measured where it had to go then carelessly cut it 100mm shorter on one edge 
Fortunately I have a roll and it is cheap enough.
That’s my morning so far, have a good one.
