Good Morning Saturday 25th March 2023

Morning all!

Was a tough night, filled with nightmares and terrors. Body was still aching when I got up.

Things got better as the day wore on.

Hope to talk to my favorite person on the phone later. I’ll have to play the rest of it by ear.

Have a good day everyone.

Good morning Butterscotch, I am sorry to hear that you had a rough night. I hope you get some rest in today.

It’s autumn here. My favourite time of year. It’s cold and rainy here this morning. I have a manicure appointment later this morning and then I’m free for the day.

Can someone bring me coffee in bed please?

Nevermind, I’ll get up…

Good morning!

Wet & miserable here and I think I’ll be staying in all day

Nearly finished my model plane, ready to put on the transfers/decals
I have emails from a couple of friends a week ago and it’s about time I replied
And I really must clean the kitchen floor

At the speed I go that will be enough work for today

The polling booths shut just over an hour ago in the NSW election so an settling down to watch the results come in.

Nothing very exciting so far only about 1% of the votes counted so far , there is an initial swing to Labor BUT very early days yet.

Optional preferential works against new parties like the Teals and the independents so tends to favour the major parties. It will be interesting to see how the Greens go.

There might be night terrors for some ex MPs tonight.

Morning all.

I have such a lot to clear out in this house I am beginning to feel a bit overwhelmed at the thought. I have a coach holiday booked for 10th April that I am thinking of cancelling. If I keep to the dog care, but cut back by two nights I could maybe spend that time going to and fro charity shops or the tip. Without her to think out, walks, plays, etc., I can devote my time to the task. And also won’t need to worry about leaving the front door open.

Don’t cancel your holiday I know you are uncertain about having the front seat in the coach… but honestly a passenger will swap with you …the front seat is highly prized especially by people with mobility issues,
also men who just like to be at the front with the coach driver.

There’s plenty of time between now and the 10th to crack on with decluttering … it doesn’t all have to be done at once. Xxx

I am cancelling. It’s not just the seat. My post explains.

Good morning everyone, raining here & off to collect & pay for our auction lots shortly.
We won 8 lots at the auction, including a Munnings print of a study of an Exmoor foal named Pixie. Glad I got that, just need to find a space on a wall for it. :grinning:

That’s so sad .
Is there no one who can walk your dog :dog:
If I lived nearby me and my little fur baby most certainly would of enjoyed stepping in for some extra dog walking/feeding

Morning all

Just about to put an eight hour shift ( hospitality ) in, it’s going to be a busy one!
:plate_with_cutlery: :100:

Sorry to hear you are cancelling your trip Janet.

Seems not such a good day for some us today especially Butterscotch. And our poor dog is not well. We went to a specialist vet yesterday so he has new medication. He is just laying on the floor and not eating. We will go to the vet on Monday to get another urine sample. Sad, sad…

Ripple, it’s not just the walks. It is the attention she wants and needs. This morning I had to play ball with her, which means getting it from underneath furniture, or the clothes airer, or stuck in a corner. Then it’s the constant in and out of the garden, unlocking and locking the door. If she isn’t here, full time, then I can get on with what I need to do. Her carer has responded, saying he is happy to change the dates if I want to.

Oh no. Hope he is ok. Sending get well wishes to him. X

Thank you for all the nice words everyone. :purple_heart::green_heart::blue_heart:

I’m feeling better. I appreciate your kindness.
