Morning all, cooler here today and showers for later they say but again the garden will be thankful.
I’ll be picking gooseberries and blackcurrants today for the freezer, looks to be quite a good year in the fruit garden although with the lack of rain the fruits aren’t as big as they would be normally, but no complaints overall.

I have just been watering the lawn as I put fertiliser on it last night thinking there would be a rainstorm .
Nope sky of blue this morning so gave the lawn a quick blast with the hose just enough to dampen the stuff .
Looks like it will be anther lovely day so we must enjoy it while we can

Already too hot for me and due to reach 68f by midday - with thunderstorms to follow. Planning some reorganisation in the Craft Room and I also need to make some more mayonnaise and some potato and herb salad.

What! I had to google 68F and it is 20°C - not even warm! It only got to 19.5 here today so I wore a cardigan and jacket when I went out
So while you are boiling in your 20°C of summer we are freezing in our 20°C of winter

@Bruce - Sorry, Bruce, I am just one of the boring minority who cannot tolerate heat! Once the temperature hits 60f I hibernate indoors - windows open, curtains closed - until it cools down. Have been known to sleep during the day and be up and about through the night.

About to do first dog walk, then will see what the day brings. Need to rummage in the freezer for today’s main meal.
Might play with the cordless jet washer out in the garden again, more fencing to clean (the algae).

Good morning everyone, not a great one with high winds and heavy showers.
I have had to buy a new lot of geraniums for the tubs at the front of the house and build a netted frame to cover them after the lambs which get out daily ate the first lot and a shrub . The lambs are a real pain.
After lunch I hope to give Chloe a quick tidy ready for her holiday next week.
