Season’s greetings, all!
Have nothing planned today except to stay in with the family, maybe do a little school work and relax with a decent book until Boxing day.
We decided not to go out after we had several near misses driving home last night. Too many souls in a rush, mind on something else and not paying attention on the road ahead. Stores are packed to bursting, shelves empty of items that a few days ago were overflowing on the shelves (where are the vegan, g/f Tesco Finest Crinkle Cut Glazed Ham Flavour Crisps 150G? I can’t find them in any of our local or main stores).
We drove around to four stores and nothing! Absolutely nothing.
However, they have shelves upon shelves of Christmas pudding flavour crisps, which are okay until the second handful.
Apart from that major upset, all is well.

Those look so good! Thanks for the reminder that I have some potato chips (crisps) stashed away in case I need them on Christmas day. You never know when they could be required.

I’m waiting to have my manicure and then I’m off to my daughter’s place to marinate the roasts for tomorrow. Then it will be back home for a quite Christmas Eve dinner with my son! Prawns on the menu - his choice! Poolside afternoon loading! It’s currently 29 degrees Celsius here today!

Cool & damp here, but not too bad considering it’s winter
Nothing much planned this morning
I’m stocked up with food but I might have a walk to my nearest supermarket - LIDL - this afternoon and see if there are any bargains
It’ll probably be a scrum, but that’s all part of the fun!
