Paula came with her daughter Millie, fish tank was cleaned, a big water change and a lot of plants taken out.
It looks much better this morning.
I had a lovely card and present from Millie, very good writing for an 8 year old.
A lot of mashed potato made and now in the freezer.
Today I have Shiv, my main helper, arriving with wife and daughter, so a very clean house with my smartphone and electronics sorted and the ironing done.
A surprise was that I was expecting to be on my own over Christmas, however Paula is here again tomorrow to do a lot of cooking to freeze and the veg prep for Christmas Day.
I am also having Shiv and Paula here for a few minutes on Christmas Day and Shiv is bring a Lamb Curry.
I will be going to the retail park today. Wish me luck. I want fresh bread in Morrisons and some pot plants for gifts. I could walk there with my sholley, along the old train track, but it’s cold and the walk takes about 25 minutes. I’ll see what the weather is doing.
Hope to chat with older sister later, then she will be busy over Christmas seeing her family. I spoke to my brother the other day, and will pop in to see younger sis in the morning. On the way back I will see what Aldi car park looks like.

Fortunately it’s a rest day today and I was unable to accompany Mrs Fox and her friend to the supermarket at six this morning. It’s not fair to subject people to the misery that I find myself in…

For some reason I have avoided that affliction.
