Good morning as we rush toward Christmas.
I was up early for my daily walk but I was woken up by at terrific chap of thunder at 1am. The thunder rumbled for about a minute then gave way to the sound of rain or perhaps small hail on the roof.
When I checked the rain gauge this morning 2mm had fallen overnight (for those in the west tied to old measurements that is 0.0065 ft of rain 
)
I was surprised how overcast and humid it was this morning such a change from yesterday
Planted out a couple of Bromeliads - probably in an unsuitable place but there you go.
Enjoy the weekend, it is the calm before the storm of last minute Christmas shopping.
