Good morning to you all and Happy Birthday to all the horses out there (apparently they are all born on 1st August).
I was out early, clad in pullover, feather jacket and all the other accoutrements to get milk, biscuits and all the other things I had allowed to run out before I went away.
Slept fairly well all things considered last night, I stayed awake until after 10pm before going to bed however I did wake at 3am and had trouble getting back to sleep but am hoping I have beaten the worst of jet lag.
When I arrived in Singapore yesterday I thought I had most of the day to wait before leaving again as I thought it was about 6am (analogue watch) turns out it was 6pm and I only had a couple of hours to wait. These airlines are quite canny with their sleeping arrangements.
Spent most of the morning getting organised, had to find my normal wallet and keys, took the car out for a drive to get the oil and air con moving, put my passports away, charge up camera and drone batteries. It is all go
My son rang from Darwin, my daughter from the snow (mad!) so it has been a busy morning.
Good morning!
Dry, no wind, but the cloud is building up slightly
Over the past couple of weeks I’ve done a load of cleaning & tidying, so now I can tackle hobbies & other more interesting jobs with a clear conscience
The first job is to replace the zip on a leather jacket
And at the speed I go that could take a few days
Then I’ll worry about what to do next
