Starting this a bit early to make up for yesterday. It’s still night here so I’m looking ahead.
The weather has cleared up but I’m hoping my neighbor doesn’t play loud music.
I’m planning on talking to my favorite person on the phone. Then I’m winging it.

Today I’m sorting out packing cases in the garage…I still haven’t unpacked my best crockery and I will need it as I have 12 here for dinner on Xmas day…I must be mad 
also will make a list of food shopping to do next week and presents still to buy in fact I have loads to do… I’m starting to wish I was going with Bruce on his cruise 
On a more serious note I have a relative very poorly in hospital right now so my preparations are tinged with sadness…hoping for a miracle

Yesterday I visited a NT property Hinton Ampner in Hampshire.
To see the Xmas decorations , Wind in Willows theme.
It was amazing and all done by volunteers .

Yesterday was the end of the school term, which arrived in the form of a half day and a get together with the teachers in the early afternoon.
Will try and catch up on some work during the holidays, but resting and spending quality time with the family and continuing with my training, which unfortunately slipped to one session a week, will be the focus of these few weeks. Have been comfortably wearing my old jeans and trousers from nearly eight years ago, so something is definitely working and I am still thinking…how did that happen?

I’m going to very, very carefully limp over to the convenience shop this morning with the aid of a stick.
I’m sorely tempted to buy a copy of the Christmas Radio times which is something I haven’t done for many a year, it used to be a bit of a ritual in our family.
I think a glass of something might be in order at lunch time, can’t make my mind up if it’s to be red or white at the mo. Got a few pressies arriving for my son from Amazon later

Dog walk done, having a late breakfast. Didn’t get up till 8.20. Overslept.
Morning all. It rained and most of the frost has gone. Will do some more work on the roof between the houses now that the final part has been delivered. Have got a tuition online later, and I’m waiting for a replacement toilet seat to be delivered (one of my rental flat’s seat snapped yesterday morning, and it’s something I can repair without getting the letting anmgent involved), which I’ll replace either later or tomorrow depending on when it turns up.
Am still waiting to hear from technical support regarding an app that downloads to my phone and install a itself, but simply doesn’t run. This will enable me to speak to a locum who can then hopefully issue a prescription. My GP told me the next available phone appointment with thrm.is the new year, but apparently this app will give much faster access to someone.
