It was a nice day with some catch up sleep. I joined a 24 hour webinar later in the evening. Neighbor is playing music in their house which is nice, giving me a break from the banging. I can still hear the beat but not as loud.
Weather was heating up but overall a nice day.
Today I plan to talk to someone on the phone after their holiday. If it’s quiet, I might play with my new pens. If neighbor plays his banging loudspeaker, all bets are off.
Good morning all
Weather BREEZY very very breezy.
Yesterday I saw my son …it’s his birthday today …to celebrate we ate cake , a strawberry Pavlova oh my goodness it was delicious.
Has anyone joined British Gas summer saver electricity?
Half price Sunday electricity till the end of September.
I’ve saved up my washing 2 loads, the dishwasher will be full , vacuum everywhere , bake a cake and do some ironing. I’ll be exhausted
Good morning all
We were thinking off going along to watch a pre season friendly…Three Bridges FC v Crawley Town and meet up with a few familiar faces. Given the weather forecast we’ll probably do some stuff at home instead.
Good morning all , raining here and Thunderstorms to start at 11am for the rest of the day . @summer my daughter in Mallorca and she said it was 40c ,
Im not with BG , but I only hoover up once a week and wash posts by hand once a day on the cheap night rate .I very rarely cook with the oven its all done on the hob or slow cooker and microwave …So I wouldnt gain much …
Not much planned and yes I prefer this weather to the continent at the moment. Also spoken to my cousin today and his step daughter and family live in Vermont they are having a hell of a time with floods.
@Ripple my brother and family have joined BG thing not sure it would of worked even last year with the kids but with the kids now over 18 it could well they have plans for tomorrow like military operation I am keeping fingers crossed for weather to be good enough to hand out their bedding for them.
I am stuck inside at the moment, so my garden is a mess and 2 of my 3 helpers are not around at the moment, illness and a family death.
I had a visit from the Hospital at Home Team Managers.
They are wanting to destroy my front garden with a wheelchair access ramp which will zigzag across the garden to get the slope.
I will not be allowed to walk up and down it, the slope is not compliant with their rules and they also know that I will point blank refuse to use a wheelchair.
Apparently it is a requirement for NHS Staff access to reduce risk to them getting me in and out.
If I do not have it I will no longer be able to have hospital at home.
Good morning from Foxy’s quiet world…
Had a good lie in this morning before going to do the Tesco shopping. All done and dusted by 9:00am but daughter and hubby are expected about 11:00 ish’ with a late birthday pressy…Wonder what it could be…?
Off to find a good garden centre for lunch afterwards. It looks like it’s going to be Wentworth, very good food but so busy at weekends…
Thanks Summer, had a lovely day and the Magpie is still as good as it ever was…
Not a good weather forecast for the rest of the day so I hope it clears up for tomorrows 16 mile tour of Sykehouse on the bike…
Morning all! Rather windy today with not many people around but we had a good long anyway. We had a little surprise when we opened our door - a rather large dog at our neighbours garden. I don’t know owns it but not the neighbours.
