Yes, we are all cooling it - or not. We had a short stroll this morning and chatted to a few neighbours. One is a lovely lady. We had a chat outside the garden gate as we do. She has been out on her travels for a few days so there was a bit of catch up to be done. Oxxie’s mum is still in hospital so the lady and my wife will visit her next week. Of course Max did the quick tour of the lady’s house and garden. Then we walked and chatted as we came home with our neighbour across the was. He has a couple Llapso Apso wee dogs. It’s a lovely, friendly place.

Bit late good belated morning.
Had a deserved lie in after a very stressful week at work. Just got back from aldi doing dad’s shopping and going for his Saturday fish.
Made myself a salad for lunch as I didn’t want a fish today.
I’m going to a golden girl ger together this late afternoon so that will be fun. I want to try fit in a swim before I go but I’m pushing it for time so perhaps not

Good afternoon all.
Hardly need say, but it’s yet another stinking hot day again. 
Within about half hour of getting out of the shower, I’m sweating again. It’s horrible, especially at night when it barely cools down at all.
Never had so many flies come in before, either.
Right, I’ve had me moan now. 
Been in town most of the morning. Had a lot of odds and ends to sort out, so thought I’d do it in one foul sweep and be done with.
Going to have a nice cold drink now.

Good Morning All
Flower Show fireworks cancelled due to fire risk, a great shame.
I will be spending my day in an isolation sideroom at the hospital, but nicely decorated and looking out into a courtyard garden.
The coffee is good and it is a lot quieter than a main ward and I can keep my phone on charge
The room has it’s own Aircon, better than home really. Breakfast will be delivered soon and no washing up.

Doesn’t sound ideal but you are definitely making the best of it. Aircon can be a real boon when the weather is this hot.

Out for lunch later… my daughter flies off to Minorca today in fact she will be in the air now …son is off too but having a staycation so no family to bother me this weekend…I miss them when they are gone though.

Bit of general tidying up in the garden as we’ve friends over for a meal later, but we’ll most likely sit outside for the majority of the time.
Also got to tutor a lad who bombed out his lower 6th year and who wants to do some damage limitation over summer.

Getting my new phone set up was more challenging than I hoped in the beginning but I’m growing to like it.
