I received my Black Friday special delivery today. Yay! It’s a tablet. I’ll check it out next week.
I’m still hoping to get a grocery delivery but I’ll have to see if my neighbor is planning to be a jerk since it’s Saturday.
If it was a holiday yesterday, it was a very quiet one. I thought it would be. I don’t remember anyone celebrating on this day in the past.

My own NfH returned home late yesterday afternoon. It has been lovely in their absence since early Tuesday.
Wonder if it will be too cold for the allotment now? Weather presenter yesterday was laughing when she said next week it will be even worse. Sheesh!!

Tootled off to Tesco early on, and by gum it was cold…Brrrrrrrrrrr.
4 degrees C… and ice on the gatepost. Rest day today so I’ll go out and clean the motor before dinner. It’s gonna be cold out on the bike in the morning…

I’ve mentioned before that I have joined an eco/foraging group, more for the company & general interest than any real wish to go mushroom hunting, but they are easy going and that’s OK with them
They also have an allotment, and have a work party there this afternoon, which I had intended going to
Unfortunately I had difficulty getting to sleep last night, and felt cold, despite being well wrapped, eventually nodded off about 02-30
Yet this morning I couldn’t manage a lie in, so I got up about 07-00, then sat around feeling tired and not right
I’m a bit better now, but still won’t go to the allotment, which is a shame as the weather is so nice
Ah well, there’ll be other times
