Cold and frosty at 2ºC. Rain forecast for this afternoon. Maximum temperature 7ºC.
Keeping warm again today, household chores to do so I will not be going out at all.

Didn’t rain today and the sun shone occasionally which was nice. However the ground is absolutely saturated and surface water is lying about - good for those damn mozzies!
Went shopping at 7.30am because I had to buy milk but Coles were out (presumably not yet delivered) so I went to Woollies who had plenty. Covid is definitely messing up the supply chain though having two supermarkets in the same mall has meant that what one ran out of the other had plenty.
My daughter called in which was nice. She was down for her husbands cousin who is off to the UK so they are having a farewell party

Morning everyone, cold here too but not a hard frost, rain for later they say then very mild for a day or two…
Just about to head off to the forest with the hounds, then after coffee I’ll be baking some fruit loaf for tea. Nothing else planned, just a quiet day in with the papers and maybe a film later.

Morning all, dog waliking with Alf in the dry again, we moan about rain but there’s been few and far between days where we’ve got wet since having him back in May.
Hanging a new blind in the kitchen this morning, enjoy.
Morning all, well now I’m on the right thread, haha! It’s a bit dull outside, but dry so not all bad.
Our 8 year old grandson stayed over last night while his parents were out at different Christmas meals. We watched A Boy Called Christmas last night on Sky Movies. What a great film! If any of you have access to Sky Movies, I can thoroughly recommend it, a really magical Christmas film. Or if you’re in the US, you can get it on Netflix.
It’s going to be a lazy day for me after GS goes home around 10.00. After a week and a half of virtually non-stop childcare, I don’t think I’ll know what to do with myself

Morning all.
Not sure yet of my plans. Up late thanks to insomnia and the dog wanting the garden twice. Probs explains why she is in no rush for her first walk, but spose I’d best get to it, then have a late breakfast.
Just back from my second walk of the day - to the village Post Office. The pavements a still a bit precarious and all the cars have sparkling white rooves. Will shimmy up into the loft later and bring down the decorations ready to be put up on Monday. First I need tea and fruity bun!

Today, My Great Grand Children will be here to put up my Christmas Decorations (A yearly event!).
Always like to see the look, on their faces, as they see all of the old traditional bits and pieces, which, always, to me, look better than the modern stuff.
As from today, will not be listening to, or reading, any more news/newspaper stuff, as it all seems to be vitriolic & attempts to kill off the Government - and our sense of good will to all men.
How depressing can they all (make money from) get!
Will turn it back on in the New Year.

Good Morning!
It’s damp & miserable here, though not actually raining; and cold, though not excessively for the time of year
The place is fairly clean & tidy, and I have loads of food in, and I had planned on getting back to my hobbies after delays for no particular reasons
However, I feel sort of sniffly & tired; think I’ll have yet another coffee with rum in it, then a doze in the chair for an hour or so, then hopefully I’ll get round to doing something useful
And Yes, TEDC, you’re not the only one who’s tired of hearing all the squabbles & arguments about the government, Covid, politicians, and all the rest of it
I too will be switching off, mentally and literally, till the New Year

Good morning everyone cold dark and damp, I have done the washing but won’t be hanging it out it will have to wait till tomorrow.
Can’t decide whether to make bread this morning or leave it till tomorrow now I am off to a late start having replied to some emails.

Cold and grey here, with heavy rain forecast for later. 
Looks like my washing will have to be dried indoors again, and I really don’t like having to do that.
My little Gertie has got a rumbly tummy today, and got me up 3 times during the night!
Hope it clears up as the day goes on.
Off to indulge myself in another mug of tea now, then I suppose I’d better show willing and push the hoover round.
