It’s a lovely day outside. I think I’ll spend my morning doing some gardening!

I’ve got a gardener coming this morning to uproot some ivy that we planted 30 years ago. It’s growing on the property next door & it has to go.
When he’s removed it he’s going to put some trellis up so I can grow a few climbing plants.
Before he comes I’m going to the skip in our marketplace to take the old lawnmower.
Hope to go a walk later.

hi wondered where the spring was coming from then and then realized SA heh - well autumn in UK and end of the dry in Oz west side but flooding over east i think ?

Flipping chilly ‘ere in Suffolk.
A coffee morning at a cafe near the Broads. Might take my bird seed with me and feed the ducks and swans. The bird feeder idea was a non starter here at home. No birds!!
Morning all, mild here but dull again, although forecasting sun and 26deg next week, a final blast of summer to come by the sounds of it… 
No plans for the day other than cooking fish fingers and chips for lunch, but there is always a job in the garden if I get desperate.

Good morning everyone, it’s quite bright here at the moment, although fairly cloudy. Taking my daughter to Tesco later as she has run out of virtually everything! As I did my shopping yesterday, I said I’d go in the restaurant with my granddaughter while she’s shopping - that’ll be after said granddaughter has spent the £5 she got from selling her outgrown toy dressing table yesterday.
Knowing from experience how difficult it is for her ever to make a decision on what to buy (“oh but I can’t decide - I want that and I want that. Oh and that too!”), I wouldn’t be surprised if we’re left with no time for a cuppa…

Good morning everyone 
dull and chilly yet again.
We did have some sun in the afternoon yesterday and I spent it in the garden tidying. Lack of rain has made many things look dead , the dahlia
buds are black and squishy so I have binned them and anything that looks off and will go in search of cyclamen to plant instead.
I have also moved the mini greenhouse into the garage for the winter and will use it to store washed plant pots and seed trays.
I have booked Chloe in for her operations on Tuesday, she has 3 procedures including a toe removal. I won’t be able to go far for 2 weeks afterwards so I can remove the collar and make sure she doesn’t get the bandage off. I have ordered some boots for her for short walks to keep the dressing clean outside.

Good morning chatters , bit overcast which doesn’t bode well for giving the weekly wash a flap in the breeze. Hate using the tumble dryer but if needs must.

A week of lovely weather has ended, cold and wet today, had to turn on my heater this evening but should start to clear up tomorrow arvo.

Poor Chloe - I hope all goes well for her. Has she ever had to walk in boots before? If not, prepare yourself for some antics as she gets used to them

Hi Bathsheba I have already anticipated antics with the boot when a leaf stuck to her leg causes major trauma
