Good Morning Monday 6th December

Good Morning everybody! Its cold and wet this morning. :frowning:

No plans yet, apart from the usual chores and food supplies. I need to phone the hospital to see if my annual check up on Tuesday, is by phone or face to face, since nobody has advised me either way :woman_shrugging: I only knew about the appointment in the first place because the notification from last year came up on my phone calendar!

Have a lovely day everyone

Big day today, my two eldest grandchildren are coming over from Brazil to live in this country and staying with Sue and I until Ben my son completes the finishing on his house. So today he has got the carpet people in and also his beds and matresses are arriving. His table arrived here yesterday so he is taking that to his house this morning. So it is all go this week for him to finally moved into his house properly at last. still got curtains and blinds to put up and get everthing for the table. Unfortunatly a lot of stuff ordered months ago such as settees and chairs won’t be here for a few more weeks (damn bad service I think) down to covid I guess. Be happy when I get my garage space back as it has been used to store stuff from his old house.
So it is all happening this week and by Friday he should be settled into his new home

Good morning to all of you. :slightly_smiling_face:
Looking forward to picking up my almost brand new car this afternoon at 4pm. I went for a demo model which was hard enough to get. It’ll have about 3,000km on the clock I expect.

Good morning all :slightly_smiling_face: a dull showery day.

The washing will be drying indoors unfortunately, a waste of time putting it on the line.

Lots of small jobs to do to keep me busy.

Enjoy your day folks :slightly_smiling_face:

Good morning from ‘out in the rural sticks’ to all you ‘early birds’. :039:

Dry but chilly here. Rain forecast this afternoon which will clear by early evening.
Maximum temperature 6ºC.

Nothing planned really, yet again, just usual household chores like doing the washing.
Anything is more than enough for today.

Enjoy your day everybody, whatever you may be doing.

Good morning everybody.

After a weekend nursing Tony with agonising gout we’re back to normal today.

Morning all!

I’ve started my Xmas approach by trying to carry out one of the Biblical Sayings, every week.

Today, it’s going to be my “Do unto others as they would do unto you” day.

So,

I’m going to :-

  1. Park on the pavement, in front of neighbour number one’s house.
  2. Leave my bins out for the week.
  3. Play music, very loud, on my car radio, each time I go out.
  4. Drink the last cold drink from the fridge.
  5. Pip my horn as I lock my car.
  6. Ram some older folk with my supermarket trolley!
  7. errrr…?

Next quotation in a week!

Ah! I feel better already!

Bah Humbug!

A dull day here too, in fact a bit drizzly. Dogs have both been walked. Now we are going to the pharmacy - that’s quite a stroll. but this time with just the one dog.

Good morning everyone , cold dark and wet and I have just taken a parcel to the post office in a nearby village where the staff are always friendly and cheerful and there are never any queues.

After a bad night I am taking things easy and will wrap Christmas presents this afternoon and that will be another job out of the way :slightly_smiling_face:

Hope she got off, Danny!

I’m not going to reply to that and chalk it up to a misunderstanding.

I’ve been so lucky, this week!

Thirty pounds won on Premium Bonds.

£30 pounds won on National Lottery.

£10 deposited by Gov pensions.

I have to go, now, as the lovely Lady, from up the road, is knocking at my door…!

Care to rethink that or state the true amount. Everyone knows the increments are £25 so £30 is a non starter
