Good Morning Monday, 6th April 2026

Good morning on this Easter Monday. Are you all celebrating the birth of the Easter Bunny or something?

I noticed on my walk that the supermarkets were open at the usual 7am though the roads are still relatively quiet even now.

Talking of my walk, they laid out the red carpet for me. I waved as I walked along it.

When I returned home I threw all my washing into the machine as well as the towels and bedsheets from my daughters visit. I have to say that buying the 7.5kg machine was a good buy, I am still amazed at how much you can cram into it. I thought it was overkill for me the most I had bought before was a 6kg machine but it just means I can do the laundry less often. Unfortunately it is late morning and it is still on the line, the sun comes and goes today.

Enjoy your Monday, I presume it is a public holiday for everyone.

Take care…

Morning all…

A bright and sunny day here on the south coast. Me and the wife have decided to pay a visit to some historic buildings to take advantage of the weather, and the fact we don’t have much else to do today. Possibly go for a walk along the seafront afterwards. Not forgetting a coffee somewhere.

Have a great day…

:coffee: :+1: :sunny:

Good morning!
Cloudy but dry

I haven’t Posted for a few days as I’ve been feeling a bit tired & sniffly, and nothing much to report anyway, just reading, dozing, and drinking tea

I have managed some housework though, even if it took 2 days to clean the bathroom and vacuum the living room
Think I’ll go for a stroll round the park this afternoon, otherwise I’ll have stayed indoors for all of the Easter weekend

Red Carpet Walk and Wave!

Reminded me of visiting the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2015…Monday after the big weekend, crews were out front removing the red carpet and barriers.
My girlfriend and I stopped, I said, “Excuse me. Please stop for a moment”.
They didn’t know me at all, but did stop, and stare.
I walked the red carpet, waved, and when I got to the end I said, “Thank you. Next year you may tell Ringo Starr that Pam G****** walked on this very carpet!”

You should have seen the look on their faces! Priceless!
