Good Morning Monday 5th September 2022

Hi

Hi

Not the best start to the day.

Woken up by the rain bouncing off the conservatory roof, quite a downpour.

Getting back to sleep is proving difficult, so catching up on some of my recorded TV.

Wendy is due today, she is the outdoor and paperwork lady.

I am learning to walk again after 3 weeks of being in bed, so we will go into town, have a walk and can dodge the rain in the numerous coffee shops.

It should be fun, haven’t been into town for a long time.

Have a good day all and stay safe.

Good morning Swimmy and everyone

Yes, quite a downpour here too… The farmers will be glad

Nothing planned for today except staying out of the way and being tea lady for the builders

Have a good day all

Morning Swims and Summer , sounds lovely and summery that doesn’t it… (I haven’t been to bed yet … can’t sleep.)

Raining heavy here too, rather heavy.

Morning Morticia…we should start an insomnia club. I have to be up at 7am because the builders arrive then…fed up I cant sleep…

Going to have another try now

Morning all of you night owls and yes, a good old noisy storm in the night I could even see the lightning through my closed eyelids…:sunglasses:

Back over to daughter’s this morning to check on the plumber, and the double glaziers will finally, hopefully be arriving to install the long awaited new windows. Visiting Mum in hospital this afternoon, she should finally be having her procedure tomorrow barring any more mishaps…

Enjoy the day folks

Good morning everyone! Have a nice day!

Morning all.

I have to pop down to my GP surgery, hand ‘something’ in. I might then do a detour to the library and drop in the latest Tim Weaver. I collected it Saturday and finished yesterday. No doubt there will be other reservations for it. Edit. 49! Wow.

After that my time is my own.

Good morning all, a bit cloudy here at the moment, but I think the sun is coming out.

Not going out today. Car is going in for Service and MOT this morning.

Have a nice day all.

Hope it does ok. I always worry at MOT time.

Morning all x

The weather what a tease it’s threatening me with rain.

Anyway …I’ve been busy already …walked dog in the dark the days are shortening , stripped the bed turned the mattress and organise the linen cupboard.
Time for a cuppa .

Have a lovely day even if it rains

Good morning everyone :slightly_smiling_face: terrible storm in the night kept me awake so feeling tired and lots to do.

Chloe isn’t great, the new medication didn’t have much effect so we are trying another. At 15 I have refused anymore invasive tests when there isn’t a lot that can be done for a dog her age. It is just a matter of keeping her pain free and comfortable and letting her plod along as she pleases without making any demands on her.
Before lockdown I intended getting a puppy to ‘follow on’ before I get beyond coping with one, lockdown spoilt that but after much research I went to see and booked a puppy yesterday. I would have liked another Mini but as my family have a Cockerpoo and will have my dog if I am unable to cope as I get older I went with that breed. She arrives on Sunday following her first vaccination I have chosen a name but want to make sure the children like it too

Chloe will be kept separate from the puppy most of the time

Oh my Lord Meg she is gorgeous; I believe Cockerpoo’s are lively souls. Sorry to hear Chloe is not doing well on the medication trial and error. cannot wait to hear what you have decided to call her. Odd to think you will not have a Mini especially as to me you are Mini…LOL

What a cutie, Meg!

Morning all!

It was another scorcher yesterday and starting already hot today so I’m not looking forward to the heat.

Lawn is getting watered. No plans after that due to the heat.

Have a fantastic day everyone.

Good day all and sundry. There was quite a lot of rain in the early morning so maybe that will perk up the grass. We had a nice stroll down to the playground. Not many people around.

Thank you everyone I guess this may be my last puppy ever (sobs  )and I am a bit sad it isn’t a Mini having got my first one in in 1964 but as my lovely Daughter in law and son will adopt her if necessary I took my DIL with me to look and choose, so it is partly her choice and as they already have a Cocker and Cockerpoo and loads of room another dog another will fit straight in .

I think she looks like a Pippin a name the children like I also like Florence.
The dam is a beautiful tri colour show bitch with nicest of temperaments so hoping all get on well together.

She looks like she could go either way name wise but the name I would associate with a dog of yours is Florence . As you have compromised for good reasonable reasons on the breed why not stick to the name you like but either is good.

You could call her Minnie meaning (of the mind, intellect) so you do have a Mini. LOL
