Good Morning - Monday 4th October

Good Morning everyone.

Another cloudy and wet day here! Just back from my walk - the air and the soil both have that Autumnal smell about them.

Mondays are housework days at Tabby Towers - the laundry goblins are already lurking in the kitchen, and I must rearrange the dust, take the Shark for a walk, and feed those cats before even thinking about breakfast.

That nice Mr Amazon is bringing me some more crafty stuff to play with later - when the chores are done.

Have a fun day.

Feeding the cats to the shark! That’s a bit of a shock.

morning.

And a tad harsh.

Being a single bloke now housework is an every now and then occurrence, that is not to say my flat is a tip just I don’t feel the need to don a pinny, grab a feather duster and move dust about.

A pinny would suit you.

Ooops - have corrected the punctuation. Tricky little things - commas. Thank you, Smiffy!

Good morning all, its weekly shopping day, so off out at 8am.
Had a bad nights sleep last night, only got 1hr sleep this morning.
Have a nice day all.

Good morning all, clear sky and chilly here with a forecast for showers later they say…

Nothing much on my to do list today other than take a tagine out of the freezer for lunch and comb the dogs through this afternoon, ready for their clip tomorrow.

Have a good day everyone

Good morning everybody.

I think it’s got to be a housework day for me.
It’s been neglected due to my trapped nerve & opioid withdrawal. I’ve been feeling like death warmed up but got to make an effort…

Have a good day all.

Morning everyone. Broken sleep due to a party next door and the police coming to break it up. Oh for the country life again. Anyway, teeming down with rain, no plans as yet, so we shall see what happens. Have a lovely day

Morning all, dry and sunny at the moment, but it’s not going to stay that way, showers most of the day apparently. @PixieKnuckles my sleep is broken every single night - I wake up several times for a wee, drives me nuts. Last night was better than of late, only 4 times - has been 6 the previous few nights. Mind you, being kept awake by a party next door would be much worse, at least I have relative peace here and drop off to sleep again easily.

Taking my car back to the garage today, so he can check the computer again, as he couldn’t identify why I had the ‘engine malfunction’ warning pop up. Seems fine now after the service, so fingers crossed. As it’s round the corner from Tesco we’ll pop in and do a big shop before coming home.

Enjoy your day

Good morning everyone…its looking a bit grey outside and damp…you never know it might cheer up…fingers crossed.

Supermarket later for me… joy of joys :frowning:

Have a nice day all

Morning all.

I will drop Holly in for her groom at 11, then go on to do the shopping I had thought of yesterday.

Then later on this afternoon, if I don’t stay in front of the telly, I want to gather all my personally owned paperbacks and get them assembled into some proper storage order. There was one title/author I wanted to find in The Works, and only flipping found it in my bedside cabinet last night! Howzabout that? I went through a phase, during lockdowns, of buying a load of books. Read a lot, which I must clear out, but still have many unread.

Good morning all :slightly_smiling_face: early blue sky has clouded over but it isn’t as cold today.

Hoping to plant my tulip bulbs before the rain starts again.

Enjoy your day folks

Am I on the wrong forum. Feeding cats to sharks doesn’t seem appropriate . :scream_cat: :shark: :face_with_hand_over_mouth: .
Anyway that aside, good morning all. Bit damp again down ‘ere but getting better. Gasman due to fix a dodgy boiler if he can get petrol, wait and see on that, might have to resort to winter woollies.
Have a good day and stay safe.

Good morning everyone :grinning: fine at the moment and I hope to get some hand washing dry while it is then do some dead heading.

I have bought dried fruit to make mincemeat for the family mince pies and need to wash it and dry on tea towels in the oven so hope to get that done too…

Enjoy your day

The oldest bloke in the block of 6 flats awaiting a hip replacement is out cutting the grass in the communal garden as the younger residents cannot be a***d.

Sounds about right…
