Morning all!
I celebrated too soon on Saturday. I thought the day was over when my neighbors started blasting their music at 1:20 am Saturday night/Sunday morning. I recorded the illegal level then called the police at 1:30 am. The blasting noise stopped at 1:55 am.
Instead of yesterday being self care day, it turned into waiting for neighbor retaliation day.
Today will be self care Monday hopefully.

Piddling down here. Bah humbug. I need supplies so have to go out. Might meet sis in town this morning, see how I get on,
Dog walk can wait another hour or so, see if it stops.

@butterscotch Butterscotch is it common in your neighbourhood for this noise to be un neghbourly? or just them?
Very wet dog walk but going back out in about half an hour. Meeting sis in the library, I will return the book, grab a free cuppa, then decide where to get my milk, bread and potatoes.

Slightly warmer as the snow has melted, but it’s dull & drizzling
Out early to Sainsbury, and I’m just about to set off to the local health centre for my annual diabetic eye check
They put drops in your eyes to dilate the pupils so they can have a good look around at the retina
It’s not very pleasant but I’d like to have it done
The result is that you can’t see or focus very well, so I’ll be catching the bus
It takes a few hours to wear off, so this afternoon will be spent sitting around, or probably just getting under the duvet for a couple of hours as I can’t do much else.

A bit late today because I had to rearrange my day. It was pouring down with rain early on so I decided to have my breakfast first in the hope that it might stop later…Weather forecast said not, and it was right. So at 10:00am I decided to go for my walk/jog anyway. All the snow had been washed away by the rain, except the odd pile against a gate where they cleared their drive yesterday…Bad move!
So raincoat and bottoms drying on the rads and body put in the shower for a good soaking,in warm water this time.
The rest of the day will be spent doing some lunch and reading this exciting book…
Mrs Fox thinks it’s something to do with the menopause…
