Very mild, misty, and damp here today. Just back from a walk by the river, heading for a shower - then breakfast.
The housework goblins are lurking in the corners again but am trying to ignore them!

Another warm and humid day, temps again in high 20s but 54% humidity (damn you La Nina).
Planted some Mother in Law’s Tongue along the edge of the new path at the side of my place (what isn’t grass doesn’t have to be mowed). Will do a bit more each day. The geraniums cuttings at the front seem to have taken so far - just hope the heat doesn’t kill them.
Will toddle off for my walk in about half an hour at 5pm.

Good morning everybody.
I woke early so thought I may as well get up.
Today I plan on re starting my activities at the leisure centre that were put on hold for the last three months of 2021 due to bursitis & a trapped nerve. Even swimming was forbidden unless I swam with my body in a straight line with my face in the water & a snorkel. I decided to give it a miss!!
So - I’ll be going to aqua aerobics today & when I get back, a trip with Tony to Aldi for a bit of shopping & we need to get the car cleaned… Also need to get a few birthday cards for January birthdays. Luckily The Card factory shop is next to Aldi.
A stack of ironing needs doing too…

Good morning. House is a bit emptier now My youngest son and 2 grandaughters have gone back up
Seven people in a 4 bed house even with 5 beds was interesting the floor was put to use. Have to admit I really enjoyed having the kids here over Christmas, watching the excitement of them opening their pressies.
Yesterday most of the camcorder bits and pieces sold but the camcorder didn’t reach reserve price so have had to readvertise it. Just a question of waiting for the P.O to open to get packaging before posting.

YS might come round for a shower, as I expect her gas has run out by now. I do hope her new top up card arrives very soon…like tomorrow! The bloke who ordered reckoned it would arrive Friday. Hmmmph! Even I thought that was cutting it fine, when she spoke to Bulb just after the Christmas holidays.
Good morning all, a clear sky here but a chilly wind. Still, on the upside it isn’t snowing so no complaints… 
Just back from doing the Tesco shop which was great as the place was virtually empty, now enjoying a coffee before taking the dogs out. No plans after that and just cold meat and jacket spud for lunch, so another easy day ahead…

SNAP! except that all 7 of my visitors have left so I have the house to myself again.
Naturally my middle son left clothes, toothbrushes etc behind (it happens every visit).
One big change was that two of my kids have dogs now so they had to get to know each other, by the end of January my daughter and her husband are getting a dog too, so next year could be three dogs and 8 visitors if my youngest son brings his girlfriend.

Today I’m officially out of isolation from Covid its my 11th day…thing is I’m still testing positive but apparently thats not a problem? Its all very confusing
Off to the supermarket as I need supplies…I will make it as quick a trip as possible…have a good day everyone

Good morning everybody! Raining here yet again - I need some sunshine. (Or snow, even!)
Might go for a walk around town, but most of it is still closed for the holidays. I’m also considering going for an actual “proper” haircut once the hairdressers open up again…first time in almost two years of doing it myself.

Morning all. Lovely blue sky for a change, not a cloud in sight.
Washings done, and I can peg it outside in the sunshine for a change.
I am also going to take down the decorations and have a clear up today. I don’t want them hanging about any longer now Christmas is done.
Then I really must fill up my car window squirters, and perhaps give the car a quick wash while I’m at it.
Then we’ll see what else comes along . . .

dull but dry, feeling a lot colder today.
Took the tree and decorations down yesterday so will have a good tidy round today.

Took ours down this morning after a visit from a guy from our local carpet shop. He came to measure up because we need new carpets in the living room, hall and our bedroom (the other bedrooms can stay with the Berber carpet the vendors left behind). We asked him to check why the floorboards seemed to be uneven in the living room and he said that it was because part of the room had a concrete floor (
