As I was settling down for a nice nap, my neighbors woke me with their noise. They mowed their lawn 3 different times in 3 hours.
There was a siren at the time but it was slightly farther away than last time.
Their music was pounding but not loud enough that I felt comfortable reporting it although it went on for hours. It didn’t get loud enough to report, maybe because of the siren.
I could be wrong but I don’t think there will be loud parties on Tuesday, the actual Halloween. There will be kids running around. If the kid’s parents heard my neighbors yelling like maniacs, like they normally do, they would get reported.
I’m just sitting drinking freshly ground coffee before leaving for work shortly after seven, it’s dead quiet here, a good time of day to enjoy the stillness and calm before starting a new week.
I don’t have an issue with the kids enjoying Halloween as long as it’s done considerately, that’s often down to responsible parenting but hey… this is the good morning thread so I shan’t deviate
Good morning here we have a bank holiday but yes forgot to turn off my alarm so am awake since 7am even though i am not in work today. weather wet here so indoors all day no idea what to do so just play around on my laptop, unlike @butterscotch my neighbours are very quiet so always get a good nights sleep.

Driving to Boston today to get my friend to the church on time…Well actually it’s a crematorium and it’s a funeral…
It’s about 160 miles round trip according to google, but the good news is…There is a Dobbies Garden Centre just around the corner…
Guess where I’ll be going for lunch?
