Good luck with your appontment, it has just occurred to me what a stupid thing I have just said as the last thing you want is luck in these situations. So hope all goes well.
A bit of carpet ashing to be done today and otger housework type stuff. Now i am on my own i do not feel the need to be dusting etc every five mnutes.

and its a bank holiday, which is par for the course as far as rain goes. Not much planned today yet, having breakfast then we shall see. Have a lovely day

What a change in the weather, much colder and very heavy rain.
I have the gas fire on and need to put the recycling out.
The day will be spent shredding, which is boring but necessary.

I’m beginning to realise it might not be a holiday Monday for everyone, although I think Minx has one over in SA. Its a Scottish thing, clearly. Sorry guys, guess you’ll need to wait a bit!

Well, thank goodness that’s sorted! 
Started raining here a few minutes ago so the hounds will have to wait for their walk until it dries up a bit.
Just back from Tesco with the week’s shopping, which wasn’t much as we are meeting relatives for a pub lunch today and then out to a funeral tomorrow.

Wet and windy this morning in the Weald. Proper autumnal. Looks like a day in the shed doing some tidying up.
Good morning all, wet and miserable here today, and looking at the forecast for the week, there’s going to be more of the same, with temperatures dropping considerably 
. Fire’s on this morning and I can see the heating will be on any day now.
I’m having my pneumonia jab this afternoon, but nothing else planned for today.

Good morning all it rained throughout the night and feels a lot cooler this morning.
We are having our boiler serviced this morning in readiness for the winter ahead.
Still in short sleeves here but it won’t belong before I get the woollies out.

Dropping the car off today at the repairers, and collecting the courtesy. Yup, could have done without the change in weather, seeing as we will be doing walkabouts of both vehicles before handover.
And depending on the queues, I will see if I can get into Tesco on the way home. For both supermarket and petrol. If I could top up the courtesy just a little bit…
Got the dog walk done in time. Was just spitting while out with her, but a bit windy.
