Good Morning Monday, 27th January 2025

Good morning to you all and all who follow.

My plans to start on my camper hubs this public holiday Monday have been postponed slightly, it is supposed to be 32° today so will give it a miss, it is not an urgent job will restart later in the week.

Went for a good walk early this morning while it was still cool, then set about finding my missing photolight. After ripping the house apart I looked in my camper and there it was! Doh!

Found that one of the batteries had started to leak so with some white vinegar and cotton buds cleaned it all up (lots of fizzing involved), fortunately no real damage had been done.

Pleased to have found it.

Have a lovely day. Take care folks…

Good morning all

I see blue skies, theres some wind but not a gale which I think is going to develop , another Storm we are told is coming over .

Im taking a Bus ride to another a Market town getting my yearly health check. I shall mention my fainting bout last week , not that it will make much difference telling them ,.

When I come back I shall order some bags of Bark to lay over the bare soil . My dog is walking over it and getting muddy paws .

Have a good day all

Good morning folks… :039:
Some pretty heavy overnight rain has left lots of standing water everywhere, but it was fine and clear when I ventured out for my walk/jog and another amazing sunrise. 4 degrees C so it was shorts weather but with some jogging to keep warm.
The shoes are doing well and I realise that the injuries I suffered over the festive period were down to the New Balance 680’s. A cheaper and less cushioned version of the NB 860’s
Sometimes a bargain is not a bargain… :009:
The cushioning of the Skechers is far superior to the 680’s Surfermom, with a much wider and more stable heel, complete with air cushioning and memory foam. You can actually feel the correction of any pronation. Which probably was the cause of my recent problems.
I was referring to the cleats on the sole Surfer, when I said they were a bit flat. I think they are intended for road running and not running over mud and slippy stuff. They weigh in at 420 grammes each, quite a bit heavier than most of the shoes I’ve used before, but they are more robust in the wet.

I have 2 pairs of Sketchers @OldGreyFox the last pair was to support my Arch , they are called Archfit …they do the job they are intended for . I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another pair ,

Better late than never, Bruce has already posted for Tuesday and I am just now getting around to it Monday evening. It has been a wild and crazy day.

Off to read a few posts and then scrounge up some dinner.

Hope you all had a good day!
