Good morning Monday 26th September

Good morning everyone, cool overnight again, and a real autumn feel to the weather now…

. Had my Covid booster and flu jab yesterday but no bad reaction as yet, many have said they have had a painful arm for a few days but no problems here at the moment.

Nothing much on my to-do list yet apart from the Monday Tesco shop first thing but no doubt something will turn up, as it usually does.

Have a good day folks

Good morning Barry and everyone everyone

Still in an Hotel which is nice but not home …we were supposed to be in a log cabin which was lovely but we moved out back into this hotel after one night there…its a long story but basically it was infested with bugs…we are not having much luck recently :frowning:

Home is about 3 miles down the road…George my cat is still there as he hates catteries and the builders make a fuss of him so he is OK…we go back twice a day to check on him and the build so life is interesting right now…anyway onwards and upwards

Have a good day everyone

Good Morning!

I’m up early at about 06-00; still dark and cool - autumn is definitely on its way

Plan for today is to give the kitchen a good tidy, pull the cooker out and clean behind it, sort an untidy collection of packets and odds & ends that have accumulated on the bench tops; wipe out the fridge, mop the floor etc, etc.

Evening meal today will be out of the freezer, to make room for stocking up for winter & Christmas

Good morning all, sun is shining here.

Not going out today, if I do it will just be a walk around the village.

Have a nice day all.

Hi

Back in hospital again, Telford this time
Enjoy your day.

Good morning all. Hope that the builders make good progress doing whatever it is they’re meant to be doing @summer.

Got to flush out the CH system this morning before refilling with inhibitor. At least it’s not too cold today, so we don’t need the heating on.

Have got 3 online lessons today, so that’s my afternoon to mid evening sorted out.

Not much else planned. Might start tidying the garden a bit.

Edit - we posted simultaneously @swimfeeders . Not good news at all. What’s happened?

Not good news Swimmy! Get well soon.

Oh dear Swimmers, what have you done this time? I think you just want the sexy Nurse to give you a bed bath.

On the plus side, at least swimmy’s fuel bill for October will be low.

Good morning all :slightly_smiling_face: a chilly start to the day after rain during the night.

Catching up on the housework today.

@swimfeeders sorry to hear you are back in hospital again Swimmy, I hope you’ll feel better soon.

Hi

A difficult couple of days meant I had to call ambulance late last night,it took 2 hours to arrive, and when it did Shrewsbury Hospital was not even accepting ambulances to join the queuing to get on, so off to Telford.

Ten hours later I am still on a trolley not a proper bed with an enlarged heart which has suddenly deteriorated, serious cardiac pain trouble breathing and getting oxygen round my body.

These things happen.

Still telling bad jokes and getting a laugh.

There are people in this bit much worse than me and having to listen to my jokes.

All in all not too bad.

Keep ‘fighting’ @swimfeeders, you have the right attitude.

We are rooting for you. xx

Get better soon Swimmers.

Poor Swimmy…:frowning:
And you are right - some people are in worse shape. Today my missus had a bad tummy so I had had to stroll the hairy beast on my own. If that’s the worst problem I’ll take it.

Hello everyone!

Swimmy, sorry to read about your situation and hope that the pain has subsided and you are at least comfortable where you are.

Work is challenging but I’m grateful that I actually love what I do, so the days when it can seem more demanding than some, helps me move onto another day with a renewed vigour.

The family are out with their evening after school activities, and I’m here sorting homework for the next week.

Hope you all have a good evening.

Oh dear Mr S … I hope you’re tucked up in a proper bed and feeling a little better this morning. X
