Good morning to you all on this sunny but cool day.
Went for my usual Monday morning Coffee and Cake with friends, on the way home called into an Op shop where I found a couple of Harlan Coben books. Followed this up with a quick visit to the new(ish) Asian supermarket where I bought some Chinese bean cakes and pork crackling.
Noticed one of my geraniums showing up among the tall spikey plants in the front garden.
the old one has now gone so starting a fresh…Fresh off the shelves so what shall I choose this fine but still black as your Hat outside…morning…arrh got it!
Good morning everyone , warm, bright, sunny day at last, our beautiful blue sky is back, no humidity, yipeee! Normal temperatures for end of. June.
That’s a wonderful song@DianneWoollie, I love his soft and very clear voice. This song always brings me back to my childhood days when our teacher taught us how to sing it, with him accompanying us with his guitar.
@Bruce, I also have a cracked tooth to get sorted but I’ve always had a real phobia for dentists!
That’s a lovely contrast of your geraniums growing amongst tropical plants.
Mornin’ Rose yes June is now getting more Junish at last…
I still have one Baby Tooth and my splendid dentist she said dont bite on it as it has no roots and is just awaiting to fall out one day soon…Gosh I hope not tis in the front and the other baby teeth I hung onto have long gone so I have two bridges instead one is only a few years old and one I had installed when still a Teenager…that is some time now!
I love music and wish I could sing but nope not one of my talents sadly…
Brucie babe does produce some real gems with his photography and the the Geraniums certainly stand out amongst the other wilder plants…
Have a good day Rose and most of all don’t forget your sunscreen now before you venture out…
Morning all – another cloudy start to the day but still warm and sunshine promised for later
Lovely photo Bruce. I know an “Op” shop is what we call a charity shop, but why do Australians use that term? (Yes, I know my brain does come up with some very strange questions!)
Beastie was kind to me this morning, no little gifts and didn’t keep me hanging around while she made up her mind whether to go out or not! She is currently sitting on my garden wall having taken her morning constitutional walk along the adjoining walls!
Had a lazy day yesterday, apart from doing some laundry and ironing. Read more of my book – James Carver, another new author to me.
Today’s plans are a visit to the bank and some grocery shopping
Good Morning From Foxy’s World…
Recovery is going well with plenty of walks and this morning a 15 mile bike ride, the second in the series, and faster than the first. Although I wasn’t trying to break records, I just felt good.
The sun was shining and hardly any breeze as I meandered around deserted country roads.
Mrs Fox is meeting our daughter in town later, so I might go out and start pointing the wall at the back. It needs doing badly, but I might have met with some resistance if Mrs Fox was here…Oh to have the life of a cat Sheila…Glad she’s behaving herself…
Glad you are continuing to make a good recovery - you have more energy than I and I don’t have a heart condition!! Hmm could be a dangerous move to do anything without Mrs. Fox’s permission!
Good morning from the still morning of Florida[quote=“Bruce, post:1, topic:104663, full:true”]

Good still morning from Florida! Thanks for the wakeup, @DianneWoollie!
My eyes may be playing tricks on me, Bruce. That geranium and aloe vera make it look more like spring that winter there. Perhaps it’s promising a string of warmer weather.
I hope @Rose2 and @Bruce find decent dentists. I ThatI waited too long to fix a tooth a few years ago and the blasted thing fell off my first day in Italy. It made for great pictures @DianneWoollie, I have never heard of anyone hanging on to a baby tooth before! It would be nice to be like a shark and get a nice new set every few weeks!
@SheilaP it sounds like things are settling in with your vacationing cat. It sounds like you are a wonderful feline hotel concierge!
@OGF, it must feel like a victory to get out there for some cycling. You have a nifty bike setup and you are doing marvelously with your recovery. Are you planning different routes or do you have a route you generally prefer? Be careful painting in the high sun, though; weathering paint will still be there in a few more weeks.
Nothing exciting to report this morning. I am stalling to open my email, which I am sure is full of demands for this, that, and the other thing. I think I will hold off so I can have a run devoid of anything but my breathing and what nature beholds.
Monday, Monday, so good to me
Monday mornin’, it was all I hoped it would be
Oh Monday mornin’, Monday mornin’ couldn’t guarantee…
(there is a song in there somewhere…)
On the way to see the Doc this morn (been doing it a lot lately), seems my head is on backwards
Another hot and humid one on the US east coast, hoping yours is a great start to another beautiful Monday (and week)
The thing I like about the Australian climate is the lack of humidity, Usually when it is hot the humidity is about 20% - makes it feel much cooler. Obviously in the tropical north in the wet season this is not the case.
