Good Morning Monday, 17th February 2025

Good morning on this rather bracing Monday morning. Such a nice change from the impossible to sleep, warm, humid nights of last week.

Had my usual coffee and cake morning where we sort out all the world’s problems into bite size lumps.

Will be going out shortly to check the tyres at the servo then switch on the fridge ready for the morning. My list has been completed except for last minute items like throwing my current book into the car and taking the hitch lock off the camper.

A new week, new fun (I hope)

Have a good one.

Take care…

Hi

Good Afternoon All.

Enjoy your trip Bruce, you have a very interesting life.

Still no sign of the Sun, but the sky is less grey and it is not raining.

A very quick visit from one of my Carers this morning.

Have a good day all.

Good afternoon everyone, it was bright and sunny a minute ago, now it’s suddenly gone all grey and cloudy  Rain is not forecast though, we had enough of that on Friday and Saturday, I hadn’t seen so much rain for ages! :astonished:
Made a special lunch today, cannelloni (baked pasta tubes) as it’s my son’s birthday, with a cake, of course.
Have a good trip @Bruce, look forward to hearing about your first stop!

Have a good Monday, fellow forumers.

To be honest @swimfeeders I don’t think it is that interesting, the forum is just the highlights of course. I do like travelling but that can’t go on for ever - am definitely slowing down.

I do enjoy the “Good Morning” thread and finding out what others are doing.

Where’s OGF?

Good morning from the clear skies of Florida!

I’m out and about with a list of items to purchase with no luck so far. Why is it we so often find things of interest when we are determined not to spend money and go home with money in hand when there are things we must have?

@Bruce, that is a spectacular campsite and it sounds like there are plenty of amenities. Is that a public or private lake?

@Rose, happy birthday to your son! What a nice dinner you have planned!

Have a good day, everyone!

The lake is artificial, part of the Snowy Mountain Hydro Scheme built in the 1960s originally. Snowy 2.0 is underway at the moment. it’s public.
