Good Morning Monday 16th October 2023

Morning all!

It was a relatively quiet weekend which was nice because I really needed the break. I got my self care Sunday. I watched a few tv shows, ate a bunch of snacks, cut my fingernails and mostly just relaxed.

The weather is warm in the evening and chilly in the morning. Overall, still pretty nice.

I have 1 task I’m hoping to start on today, but I’m not pushing it. I might need more of a break.

Have a good day everyone.

Good morning Butterscotch and everyone

Nothing planned for today…hope the weather is OK as there is so much to do in the garden…

Hubby is installing electric gates should be fun as we bought the mechanism over ten years ago for another house but we never installed it. Anyway he has lost the instructions and wiring plan…I know the air will be blue so I’ll stay out of the way…safer that way

Have a good day everyone

Hi

Good morning all

A cold start to the day.
The touchpad on my laptop has stopped working and the cursor has disappeared so using my phone.

To top the day off I managed to cut myself using the mandolin when cooking and I bled a lot due to my anticlotting medicine

Have a good day all

good morning all
The boiler service is booked for late afternoon,
Have a good day everyone

Good morning!
I can’t see much as it’s still dark, but from what I can see, it looks like being clear & dry

Just generally tidying around & doing hobbies

Good morning all, looks like its going to be a bright day.

Off out to do my weekly shopping this morning.

Have a nice day all.

Good morning all
Not such a cold start this morning.

Taking dog to the groomers , I shall continue on to town not that there’s a sensible shop left since Debenhams and John Lewis closed.
There’s a big shopping outlet but it’s not the same as a department store . I would like to buy a wool rug for my bedroom …but there’s no shop nearby .
Enuff whinging…

Take care xxx

Ouch I’m to scared to use one of those errr weapons .

Morning all.

One thing I’d like to do is phone a garage in town and get my car booked in for some work. I was given some mot advisories and that was back in February! Ooops. Shouldn’t leave it any longer. But then again, I only drive a few miles a week, just local runs.

Good Morning from Foxy’s Gaff… :house:
Managed to limp and jog round my 3 mile country course today. Just got rid of my last bout of gout so I wore my jog bottoms for the first time this year cos it was eyewateringly cold first thing.
Life has been so hectic for the last couple of weeks. Big toe swelled up like a bloater and made it difficult even to walk into the kitchen to make a cup of tea. Thank God for Mrs Fox…
:tea:
Daughter and hubby have been down clearing all their stuff out of my garage, there’s no way the new motor is going to sit out on the drive. The house across the road was burgled last week and they stole the car keys and took the car while they were sleeping in bed…

New car fits in the garage, just, if I retract the door mirrors.
:open_mouth:
I wasn’t sure it would. The car drives okay but the engine is a bit underpowered for such a heavy car and it’s a bit too fussy for my liking, with all the latest techno nonsense, but I liked the look of it.
