I have been in chronic pain for 10 mths not even been out because I can’t walk, did have my name down on the NHS list for surgery, but was told it would be another 1 1/2 yrs before I get that, well, I can’t live with that pain any longer, so I am going Private, get it done once and for all.
Ouch! Hope all goes well and that you have a speedy recovery. I also hope you have permission to be absent - from CoCo.

Good Morning All.
Just back from hospital appointment with Heart Rehab.
My meds have been changed, given a prescription and idiot me did not look at it and stopped on the way home at the chemists only to find out that it is a hospital only prescription.
My helper is having to go back, pay parking charges again and bring it back.
My fault entlrely.

wet and windy again.
I have been prescription hunting, I went to collect my meds from the doctor last week and one lot wasn’t in stock till later in the week so rather than drive back there again I took the prescription away. None of the local chemists stock the drug it has to be ordered in so I went back to the doctors with the prescription and had to wait 40 minutes for it. Just when it was my turn a man on a walking frame crept over from seeing the doctor with a prescription in his hand and my conscience made me let him go first adding another 10 minutes to my wait .
Going to do some cupboard tidying after lunch…

Another windy, and cool day here.
I have had a lot of phone calls to make, things to sort out, this morning, before a visit to the dental hygienist this afternoon.
Still got the horrid rat problem in the garden that I mentioned last week.
I saw one running along the top of the fence at the weekend! I have set two traps, but have only caught 3 mice so far, so I decided this morning to get the pest control people in. I am just really, really worried about having poison about the place with my dogs.
Afternoon, been painting a ceiling, trying to sort out some online banking, phone calls from estate agents, its all go. Enjoy.

Wednesday forecast -1° high a low of -11° and snow, so no not balmy yet. LOL
Late again…
We just managed to walked the dogs before the rain set in. Then I did a trip to the convenience store for some items for my wife and for Ozzie’s mum. That trip was wet…
I’d be very envious if you went back to NZ, Barry! I loved my own holiday there. Do you hope to visit different places?
At the moment @Jazzi we are thinking maybe a week in Sydney to see friends and some family, followed by a week in Auckland, then a week in Christchurch to see more friends, a week to ten days in Dunedin over Christmas to see family there, then back to Sydney in time for the NewYear fireworks.
It will certainly be our last trip to those far off lands, so we thought we might as well go out with a bang…
