Good Morning Monday, 13th October 2025

Good morning to everyone.

It has been a cool day here just low 20s, was sunny but not warm, definitely cardigan weather.

Coffee and cake this morning with friends.

Am just think of whether to cut the grass or leave it unti later in the week, That is about the level of my excitement today

Have a good week or at least enjoy your Monday.

Take care…

Good morning - Grey and damp this morning …and the weather is about the same. Catching the 9.00 a.m. bus to the hospital. The Bus Pass doesn’t kick in until 9.30 a.m. so I will have to pay. A bit of a novelty.

Have the best possible day.

Good morning!
Cloudy & dull, but dry

Well, I spent the weekend on a mammoth cleaning & tidying session, and it’s all done, or at least as done as it will ever be
Vacuuming, dusting, sorting, cleaned the bathroom etc. etc.
Although I live in a flat I have my own hall & stairs, and my new cordless vacuum cleaner made it much easier - in fact better than my Henry vacuum cleaner

I will go to the Men’s Shed this morning, then see what the rest of the day & week bring

Hi

It is absolutely great to be posting today.

Unlike Australia where the Paramedics arrive within minutes, here in parts of the UK they arrive within hours, 5 hours for severe chest pain for a known heart failure patient is not unknown.

Then when you arrive at the Hospital, you wait outside for hours in an ambulance, before being taken inside to wait in a corridor with no call button.

I had another severe episode last night, lasted hours, but thanks to the stuff I have to treat myself at home, and the equipment, I am here posting, which is great.

After our drive home from Wales on Saturday our daughter arrived with Rosie at the same time as we got home, so her and Son in Law stopped for tea, tiredness and distraction made it impossible to unpack or visit the forum so we went to bed and did it on Sunday.

A misty damp morning but surprisingly mild as I went for my early morning jog/walk along the towpath. It’s so dark in the mornings these days and I’m tempted to lay in longer, but today I’ve promised a good friend that I would take her to York to see her brother, who has been taken seriously ill and taken to York Hospital. I used to visit the hospital regularly as a courier so I know it like the back of my hand…Famous last words…

So thats my day sorted. Mrs Fox and me will visit the shopping mall while waiting for her call to go and pick her up. There’s a nice cafe in there…
:yum:
Happy Birthday Teazle…Rosie the cat is almost 6 months old and tired after a night out in her parish…

Good morning one and all…

Yesterday I was asked to do a photoshoot at a Christening and today I’m steadily going through them in what is known as “post process”, i.e. colour correction, exposure check and all sorts of other stuff.

To be honest, it was a bit of a farce. It took ages to get ready for this with set-up etc and the whole thing was over in less than ten minutes and was left the sense of “what was that all about?”, as it was totally disorganised and rushed. Having to deal with uncooperative people and uncontrolled kids made my life somewhat difficult. Then there was the party afterwards which was even more chaotic. However, in the end, I did manage to take a handful of great shots and I’m sat here getting them ready.

In the meantime, Mrs G is off playing family politics with some unpleasant people, dealing with the final funeral arrangements for my Father in Law’s funeral next week.

Anyways, have a great day…
