Sorry it’s late, had some stuff to deal with before I could come here.
Not much going on, weather is its usual hot, dropped off wife at gym, pick up a parcel, check up on some work I’m having done and see that the swans and geese have returned to the waterway where I do my daily walk.
We are booked on a cruise in over three weeks time and the taxi firm picking us up wants to know the embarkation time when it hasn’t been released. So we had to make one up and hope we don’t have to hang around for ages before boarding. Next thing on the list is packing.
Anyways, I can’t believe its the middle of the afternoon and I still haven’t had my coffee yet - something serious going wrong in the world.
Went for a walk early with my brother and his dog, it was surprisingly cool I wish I had taken my light jacket, but it was OK once I got moving.
Then we set off for Jodrell Bank, bugger me if it isn’t closed on a Monday, Not to worry I still have a couple of what you might call “unallocated” weekends before I go back downunder.
Got my brother to drop me off in town to buy a book, ended up at TG Jones (or WH Smith, my first employer) where I bought two books (couldn’t make up my mind) then bought a couple of pork pies to eat on the journey tomorrow,
Took a picture of my niece’s boy to send to my kids, had to look up their relationship - he is my kids cousin once removed and second cousin to my grandkids.
Can’t complain about the weather since I have been here, it has been perfect.
