Good morning all, another cool autumn day with maximum temperatures in the low 20s and showers forecast.
Woke up this morning to wet ground outside, about 1mm of rain fell last night but more is forecast for the coming week along the coast.
No walk for me this morning, it is, of course, coffee and cake morning. Usual pleasant company and chat, afterwards I went to Big W to get some shoes for my UK trip. All they seemed to have was Ugg boots - winter is coming - so I will probably order them on line. I like the Slazenger shoes with velcro straps.
I did buy a new hot water bottle ready for the cold weather and some chocolate (my weakness!)
Will probably do some whipper snippering in the garden this arvo.
Morning all – bright sunshine first thing but has now clouded over and temperatures are forecast to not get above 14c! I have had to dig out my winter jumpers!
Like Eliza I also switched my heating on for an hour last night!
Had coffee with my neighbours yesterday, told me all about their cruise. They had booked it to celebrate their wedding anniversary and because it called in at one particular place – unfortunately for some reason the ship was unable to dock there so now they are planning another cruise which will take them there!
My gardner is due this afternoon – I know his wife will have told him to ask questions as to why I didn’t go to the Thursday meet up last week!
